"Unable to connect to application server." and phone and chat supports are down... What the flying f***?

it does turn off after 30 seconds, however its angled at my main floor so i have to press the cancel alarm button on the home base to get it to stop. i have 2 kids and a dog and unless I keep them in their rooms it keeps going off.

Ah just saw your edits. I only set alarm on the outside front camera.

I would take those cameras that have the alarm going off and put them in a closet. Lol.

Just installed eufy doorbell with electrician two days ago and now hit with this server error, it looks like the problem is definitely on their end, they really need to fix the app and software so it is dependent only on the local network, otherwise someone just need to hack into the company, disable everything and there is no security anymore.

Same thing going on with mine except I updated my iPhone and initially thought that may be the problem. Will detect but Unable to view video on iPhone. My last video was 1.02 am Australia

Iā€™d just turned the alarm off on my away setting this morning. Glad I did!!
This is piss poor. Should have high availability and automatic failover.

Wow its like the end of the world here for some of you people. Relax, Im sure they are working on the issue now. And for those saying, oh you get what you pay for, blah blah blahā€¦ This also happens on high end security systemsā€¦ My parents have a system worth well over $1400 and it has gone down before, but guess whatā€¦ it ALWAYS comes back.So if your internet went down briefly, would you drop them and go to another ISP? If the power went out at your home, would you switch to a new electric company?

For the majority of people, itā€™s more of an issue regarding the lack of communication from Anker/Eufy and not so much the fact itā€™s not working.

Ive had my doorbell since Novemberā€¦ This is the first Ive seen

Has anyone tried to reset there their homebase and then re-sync the cameras? I might do it. Like if it was the first time you set it up.

Having system of 2C cameras and wireless doorbell since 2 days to replace my slow yet reliable arlo pro setup. Incredible how Eufy lies about a ā€œfreeā€ system that doesn t rely on cloud storage. Garbage it is. Another return of an unreliable Chinese product.

Very disappointed that this system relies on a remote server. Bought because I thought all videos were purely stored on the sd card, and I would not be dependent on cloud access.

Ironic thing is you canā€™t access anything on the card because it is all encrypted. Pointless feature and very dishonest marketing.

So apparently no one from Anker uses their own products. I guess Anker leadership donā€™t use their own products, because if they did, theyā€™d notice their system has been downā€¦ for HOURS. If I were them, Iā€™d be in the office, breathing down the engineerā€™s necks as they fix the issue (which is probably simple). And, by now, heads would certainly be rolling. Director of customer serviceā€¦ gone. Director of PRā€¦ gone. Engineers on call/shiftā€¦ gone. This is going to tarnish their brand severely. Just when things were on the up-and-up. All you need to do is hop on twitter and let people know whatā€™s going on. Or even post on here. Or send owners an email.
