Lol I feel the same way. I’d rather use my wired earbuds over wireless earbuds.
Simply plug and play, no need to connect to Bluetooth and also no need to make sure they are charged
Uh oh, Apple’s new headphones will bankrupt me, won’t they?
Well yes, that’s what I meant. My point is that when updated stop coming, so do security updates.
If it weren’t for security, you don’t need the latest software- which was the topic of discussion.
We who are gathering here are not “normal customers” at all you are right
There are many here who have a fantastic technical knowledge (not me so far )
So we share , discuss, and learn a lot.
Really a very special community.
Nothing Apple will ever bankrupt me as I’ll only have Apple products that are given to me free of charge ( that’s currently none )
However, after discovering good quality earbuds I have gone from not liking earbuds to having developed an obsession/addiction
Especially ones with ANC and/or good bass
Hi again
I’ve been around, just not as much
I have a few different pairs, no Anker ones at the moment though, waiting for a really good deal on the Liberty Pro ones.
I’m using:
Sony Wf-1000xm3
Edifier TWS NB
Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus
Aukey T21
Votomy V22
Tozo T-10-R
and I’m waiting for the postman to deliver B&O E8 and E8 2.0
Also just scored a pair of Sudio ETT on eBay for 70 quid
I’ll be selling off some again as I find the combinations of what suits me best of current stuff and upgrade some.
Yep, your are correct, you do have an addiction
I have the Galaxy Buds Plus and love them.
I like the leather clad box of the B&O
I really like the Galaxy Buds Plus as well, the hear through on them is surreal if you have Galaxy Labs, it’s like super human hearing
Sound is quite good and they are comfortable, not as loud as I would like but that’s why I have other pairs for that type of listening, they are very good allround earbuds and the wireless charging is a plus.
I like the hear through, took a while to get used to.
I turn it off if its windy as it gets a bit noisy.
I rest them on the Anker Wireless Stand and they charge a treat.
You’ll have to update me on the performance and comparison when you get the B&Os
I have TMo as well, and my wife has the old airpods, but when I tried them on, they kept falling out of my ears, just like the normal wired headphones. So of course, I got the pros and they are rather amazing. My wife said I can never buy another pair, so these better last me a very long time for $250 lol
Are you pairing them to an iPhone or Android?
Reason I’m asking is because I have Android and wanted to know what features worked or don’t on Android
Sorry, I should have stated that. Yeah I have an iPhone XR. So that’s why they work so well. If you’re in the eco-system of apple, things work well…at a price.
I did have another paid of ear buds, that I really loved, but they didn’t work all the way. I could hear great out of them, listen to movies and music etc, but people could not hear me on calls when I talked. So airpod pros it was.
Yea unfortunately I’m not in the apple ecosystem and that’s one of the reason I didn’t buy the Pros.
Anyway, I’m glad they work great for you
Only reason to buy Airpods would be if you have an iPhone already, if you have an Android phone then there’s so many other better options and for less money.
So, if you have no IPhone you need not to purchase Airpods!
But what happens if you own an Iphone already and buy earpods from another company?
To be or not to be, that’s the question
LOL… Well point being that you only get the full benefits of the Airpods if you have an iPhone.
Like you only get the full benefit of a walking stick if you have a bad leg?
I guess that’s a fair comparison since we are talking Apple products😁
Actually with you do. At least with Apple and it’s apps. If you want to keep your apps up to date or get any new ones you have to update your iOS. It sucks, but that’s what they do, either design it to break or to be “useless” after X amount of time.
