I have an iPhone and I don’t even take the free charger or headphones out of the box when I get a new phone. I usually end up giving them away lol. No, the only reason you would get AirPods is because you are a cog with no original thoughts and no care for design quality, style, sound quality, just that “you have AirPods” lol. #useankerinstead

I never use the leads and power supplies (unless they are proprietary) that come with products either.
It helps the resale value when it’s time to upgrade - especially if you’ve stored the box and packaging too.

I always keep the boxes.
Always best for resale!
But usually I dont sell, I donate.
With this the original box the donation seems more “valuable” :wink:

As someone who uses AirPods (among many other headphones), I would almost be offended by this thread! :laughing: Let’s keep the conversation friendly and welcoming to all users, regardless of the devices they use.

For me, personally, I starting using AirPods because of the open air design that still allows me to hear what is going on around me. “Back in the day,” I needed to hear when someone came up to my desk at work, and the ability to remove one earbud to automatically pause the music/podcast I was listening to (and resume it when I placed the AirPod back in) was perfect for my workflow.

I know many other earbuds now offer these features and I have many alternatives to choose from now. And if I’m on an airplane or bus (again, “back in the day”), the AirPods (non-Pro) don’t cut it for drowning out the background noise, in which case some type of noise cancellation is needed. And, of course, the Soundcore earbuds and headphones have excellent sound quality and offer that needed noise cancellation (some are passive, some active) for the times I need it.

So, there are use cases for various devices and the great thing is, we can use what we like and if other people like something else, well that’s cool, too. :sunglasses: We all have our reasons for using what we do and we, of course, welcome you to share those reasons in a thoughtful and respectful manner.
