Its great Franz.
Yes, different to what im used to. Its slightly fruity citrus flavour, but not too fruity. Very smooth too.

Paul, all fine after the “Weißbier-Experience”?

I dont think its available for a fair price in UK.
But for a test its OK.
And you are always in some strange beers to test.

A little snowfall outside, so not much to do here.

Enjoy sunday & greetings to Debs and Charlie as usual.

Tonight my drinking is Asian inspired.
Well, apart from the Tiger Beer which is brewed in the U.K. by Heineken

I dont know why i bought them as i tend to find Asian beers very gassy.

Amazing Franz.
At least it should be a nice lager then :+1:t2:

A co-worker bought me a few bottles of the Tsingtao for Christmas a few years ago, not a bad beer…went well with the Chinese takeout later in the evening :yum:

Seemy you had a asian selection.
Shinga is from thailand.
Those asian beers are mostly brewed on rice basis.
Different taste.

A lonesome, early guest!
Have you escaped from the cold and wet tent in the early morning to a pub?
A pub gives you dry shelter, WIFI and a pint.
All you need!

When I was hitchhiking in UK and Ireland we did that often.
But we always slept in new built houses, often got a cup of tea from the workers in the morning.
But after this cup we had to go and went to a pub.
Often not a good chance for getting a ride because it was “drizzling” outside,
As usual!

What to do? A “pint of Guinness”
In those times the other beers in UK/Ireland were awful for us.
There was not the variety offered one has nowadays there.
Guinness was drafted in nearly every pub.
After a while we liked it, better we had to like it

Indeed Tent+Pub are complementary. I find I consume as much battery power as I can recharge in the time of a couple of pints, and download recent news on WiFi for next dark tent hours.

Have my trusty Powercore 20000 PD and Nano charger.

Although I wish the small charger has two ports.

Tried solar a few years ago, it’s not reliable enough sunshine, better just carry a heavier powerbank instead.

Oh ja!
You should do a special research how many pints it takes to charge your powerbank!

I’d pass out if I used an Apple charger. :grimacing:

Using FM radio to keep up with the world. If I connect to the tent pole I can pickup quite far stations.

Don’t listen to much to these “news”.
I am totally fed up with that kind of censored “quality news”.
All those quality media : Press, TV Radio etc.
There is absolutely no need to listen to.
Some good music is the best.

I like eating meat. I have my own teeth.
But if it’s not available I’ll take some processed meat.
I then chew that meat and swallow.
It does mean I have to put in the effort to eat.
I dont want to eat the meat chewed by someone else.
I very much dont want to eat what has passed through someone else who ate the meat.

I like to hear what has happened directly from those who witnessed it.
If I can’t get that then a summary of witnesses.
I don’t want to hear the opinion of those who heard witnesses.
And I definitely don’t want hear the opinion of the opinions.

It does mean I have to put in the effort to chew, just like I have to think for myself based on witnesses accounts.

Nearest to reality I can get.

Looking like quite the nice respite.

Quite green too, we’re just starting to see trees bud out here, and a bit of rain to wash away the dust / dirt

Happy Saturday everyone.
I hope you’ve all had a great week?

Heres one of mine for tonight, something I haven’t tried before. Brewed by Utopian Brewery.

Anyone else trying something new this weekend?
