WWDC 2019 Discussion

Anything worth mentioning besides the dark mode? And how long before it is released to iPhones?

Public beta next month. Full release this “fall.”

It’s rarely truly fall, though. Usually it’s early-mid September, which is still summer.

Wait, you mean Apple is… ahead?

It’s already available to some developers as of now

That’s not bad. I would make sure to sign for the public beta

Have been using Developer and Beta for last 3 years and these are pretty stable… Though I use it on spare iPhones

You have a developers license for Apple? Lol I can’t afford “spare phone” :joy:

I have it from my company, we happen to do some apps testing and development

I was hoping for a redesigned homescreen, that allowed complications like the Apple Watch. Sadly that didn’t happen :pensive:

yeah, wanted some new features for home screen, hope the shortcuts app has got some new tweaks features… lot of features are still brittle… will get better with updates and fixes

Thank you for this nice comprehensive list :+1:. I saw most of it on the Apple website yesterday, but I must of missed some of it .

Glad you found it useful!

There are so many features packed into iOS13, there definitely more than just added here … Wanted to summarize it for easy lookup for iOS users

I am definitely looking forward to that, along with the redesign of the calendar and mail apps, and more options for editing photos and videos. The “Sign in with Apple” feature looks promising, too.

Looking forward to this “sign-in with Apple”

Not sure which all apps will support it and how our existing sign-in details with work… like say, do we need to create new logins? Lot of questions for now, time will answer

I love my iPhone and am very excited for this iOS update!
