Cool, thanks @Shenoy
We certainly enjoyed ourselves.
Have a good one mate
Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)
It’s been a hot sunny day so I washed the car and cleaned the inside good
We cleaned our car too, but probably smaller than yours
Took a little road trip to snag this one for free from someone & just had to clean it up a bit.
Nice detailing lol! The car looks in pretty good shape
Yeah it is. The person said they hadn’t used it in a while, so my wife and I lasted 4 hours of charging before having to test it . It worked! Finishing up 18 hours of charging to see it in action with kiddos today.
Its really a funny car.
And to work with, tinkering around, is a great chance for the kids to learn .
Where can you use? Not on public roads I suppose.
Private backyard?
We have some private places where such toys can be used without any danger for others
Most likely will just have the kids use it in the yard around the house. Two of our neighbors have different types (20+ year old jeep & a new kid dune buggy) for their kids that are about the same ages. My daughter asked if they could use it instead of walking to the park that is close by . Have to see how the battery holds up before we drive it on the side walks around our neighborhood. Don’t want to have to carry it home if the battery dies quickly
This would be a project to use ANKER’s Powerbanks.
But ask our specialist before (joke)
When I was a kid we had such ones.
No battery!
and those :
My grandma has one or two of those type hanging in the garage One is like small tractor Vintage
Keep those toys, these are more than fantastic decorations.
Unfortunately all my toys dissapeared.
I was a “great dealer” in those times and we kids were trading and swapping things a lot.
I never owned any of those but as a kid I did have something similar to the first one where I didn’t have to paddle but wiggling the steering wheel would make it go forward. I owned normal bicycles for most of my life lol
People were reasonably sensible at Dovedale, but it was very clear those from the east and the Polish were not bothered one bit about keeping a sensible distance.
However, the sheep we met were very well behaved!
You on the bike today @professor ?
