Really sometimes I dont know what weekday we have.
Normally I went to the fleamarkets on the weekend, but now closed of course.
But it should be more harder for those who have to stay at home and not allowed to go to work,
This fact is missing up such a lot.
For me as a pensioner its easier.

But you all keep on.
We will get through that trouble! :vulcan_salute::vulcan_salute::vulcan_salute:

With the current pandemic and all day work from home, it does not really matter if it is a weekday or a weekend any more

Saturday!
Heavy duty!

Have to prepare breadballs.
But not only a few ones.
Many.
(We keep those at the freezer)
Not the usual ones with bread rolls I use pretzels (better taste)
Those are not these pretzels you might know.
Such ones:
index

So its good to use the motion+ which I can listen to perfectly in the kitchen.
“La Traviata”
(Still at 25% volume and its OK in the kitchen distance ca 10m)

Sounds great Franz.
Do you have a secret recipe you can share?

Yes I can Paul.
But better you take normal bread rolls, Paul
I dont think you will get those typical Bavarian “Brezen” in the UK.

We buy those always in a 10-pack and bake these in the oven.
Funny, those were made in the local bakeries long time ago.
But now there are no more such old styled bakeries in the city.

“Back shops” -> “baking” those frozen things (mostly imported from Czechoslovakia)
These are not bad.
But why should I buy those in the “Backshop” I have my own “Backshop” at home
Same Brezen, but much cheaper.

BY the way “La Traviata” is perfect for cooking!

First step is done.
Took nearly the time of the opera and a beer.
But ready so far.

The mixture needs to rest (sleep)
(Is sleep used for this?)
The bowl is huge, but as the next step is only hand work -> kneading that mixture in such a huge bowl is very important.

Will be continued soon!

Next step is done!
All handwork!
There are stories around, that skilled “Knödelmakers” are able to form those under the ampits!.

Some will be frozen others kept for tomorrow. (need to be cooked (low temperature!!!)

This was a report from :
“Franz’s Bavarian Knödelfactory”
“Made in MĂŒnchen (Bavaria)” -> “No giveaways, no discounts, no shipping”:rofl::rofl:

Didn’t get up to much Saturday.
Bit more tidying in the garden, 6 mile wander and a friend hosted a video quiz for us and 4 other couples.
Today I think it’s a bike ride and an easy afternoon.

Whatever you a get up to have fun and stay safe.
