Thats normal.
(Job creation!)

I will go to the basement checking that pump.
If I not come back.

1.Drowned
2.Electric shock
3. Drunk, because frustrated!
#

What I really hate is the time shift.
What for?
But we were talking a lot here, I remember.

Yes! I’m already grumpy because I’ve lost an hours sleep.
Out for a walk, the boy is on his bike loving the fresh (5 degree C) air.
This is the doctors carpark, the quietest place on our village.

Great work, I’ve got lager in the fridge ready

He has long legs, i think the angle of the photo is a bit odd.
He can touch both feet flat on the floor when seated which i think is correct?

Totally got carried away walking.
A bit of hail and light snow added to the excitement.

I made homebrew for 9 years.

Now I am not suggesting we get all drunk, but, making beer is dominated by two steps, the primary fermentation and the secondary (aka barrel, aka bottling). The primary can and probably should done by one person centrally, the secondary should be then done similarly by the same person then immediately delivered to the places it would be then consumed at. It then rests there, for 2-6 weeks before consumed. The empties then collected, cleaned, and reused.

It is of course illegal to sell alcoholic products you made. I would not suggest that. I am simply pointing out the steps to make and gift.

Beer inherits the flavours of the ingredients, so apples made cider, etc, so the flavour is seasonal. But you can make beer from anything, like potato peelings.

Bread and beer are sibling processes, they make different outcomes, but they share that once you have the process started, it keeps going. Example:

My point? There is a lot of skill locally you may not know. Get to know your neighbours. Ask if they need help. Share problems. There is probably someone within 100ft of you who knows more than you and can help you.

Ja, he should reach the floor!
Tiptoes are OK.

All well done, as usual Paul!

You see we care about each others!

Not only talking about volts and watts or "hissing noises…heheh!

WE ARE THE FAMILY!#

Lager is OK for you!
Weißbier for me!

I was reading that breweries run short of bottles now.
We have a nearly perfect recycling system.
Plastic and glass bottles. (15 cent and 6 cent per bottle)
Tins are 25 cent
(Thats the reason why many are collecting those in subway stations here)

Claro, people are hoarding (water…heheh) not beer, that we drink.
All out, nio more coming back.
Weird!
Tomorrow we make expedition to the beverage store.
Lets see what the friends tell me there.
I am a well known customer there…hehehe

Never made my own beer @professor
It used to be a really big thing for my dad when I was a kid.
Money was tighter and beer wasn’t so readily available in shops. Today it seems more of a niche thing and I think what’s spoiled it is the amount of good cheap beer available.

We have good neighbours on our close, mostly young (like me ) in their 40’s, some with kids a few without.
We are not very close, but know each other well enough for a chat while gardening and cleaning the cars etc.

You know me Franz, I’ll drink anything with % on the bottle :grimacing:
I do like a nice beer but lager is nice and refreshing when your throat needs something cold and bubbly. Great after a hard days work

What shall we do with the drunken sailor?
When lying in bed, deeply snoring, he could not get an infection!
SAFE!
Raining now GOOD!!!

Lager is more difficult to make than ale as the yeast needs to be bottom fermenting. I tried making lager, it was awful, but I can make ale, stout, of any strength requested (below about 12%).

Hats off to the lager and pilsner makers. We always knew Bavaria was superior.
