Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

It’s nice to change things around from time to time, it can make a room feel new!

It’s easy to collect things, some say you shouldn’t have to much “stuff” cluttering your life. I feel this “stuff” are good for memories and remembering events and good times in your life.

Hello everyone, I hope you’ve had an awesome Sunday.

Today we didn’t roam to far, the boys back to school tomorrow so took it easy.
We still managed to get to the park on our bikes and popped to the cash and carry to stock up on essentials - we didn’t get the cheese although Charlie really wanted it :joy:

I wish an easy week for you all!

Cheese!
What a huge packet!
Such one would last here for a month.
But of course, pensioners having not much to do, don’t eat so much!:joy:

You should ask Charlie how long would it take to eat that .

Charlie said hello Franz :wave:t2:
He said he would have it all on some toast
That needs to be a pretty big piece of bread :face_with_monocle:

Is this celebrated anywhere else?

I know it’s celebrated in Mexico. Los 3 Reyes Magos Is their version of Santa Claus, they bring toys to the kids.

WOW, the first full week back to work after the Christmas break was certainly a tough one!
Thankfully, here we are again at the start of another weekend.

A quick trip into town and an obligatory coffee and cake.

Whatever you have planned for the weekend i hope you make the most of it.

Was at the flea as usual.
I found an interesting compass (seems WWII)
Not sure now which part of the Wehrmacht, have to do some investigations.
I have a few of those , but never saw that model.
Fotos later…

Here we are.
Its from the Wehrmacht as I supposed.
And its a rare one
A Breithaupt Kokil.
There is a “map measurer” added.
The normal ones had not such a feature.

In our days we got GPS.
But if there is no “net” in the nowhere we have to use such a compass!
