I am preparing my small bag for vacation.
My wife has a big one, of course!
Not a problem at all.
My small one is free (on board baggage)

I remember in the 1980’s I made a 1/2 year trip to South America.
Had only a really small rucksack.
Was perfect.
There is not much need of things when travelling.
The more things you are carrying around the more things get lost!

I always like the reports of our friend @professor who is an absolute minimalist.
But he never forgets to take a lot of chargers and power banks when being on trips.
That’s really great,

Out and about as usual.

Big brother looking out for little brother

Eating like a king

Calories in, Calories out.

Got myself an Anker 523 dual USB-C charger to make faster use of any power sockets.

Very true but I subscribe to “you don’t own possessions they own you” and “life is a journey not a destination” I own just enough to enjoy my brief time here.

Enjoy it!

And a roaring Prosit from München

I’m nowhere near mountains, but I did go climbing the other day up into our church’s steeple. Snapped a picture of the town’s courthouse through a broken window.

Really nice pictures and seems like a nice purchase do any of the eu chargers have folding prongs? I know they are different than the us ones and look a little harder to design for folding

Wow really great view and great picture capturing it!

UK has 3 prongs EU 2 prongs.

As far I know those modells don’t have folding ones.
Those for EU could been designed with those, but havent.
UK is a little more difficult.

Wow thought I had typed uk but guess I did eu guess it’s a sign I need sleep :joy::crazy_face:. Interesting that the eu don’t fold even though they are only two. Are there any that are three prongs like in the us there are two prong and three prong plugs and outlets?

The prongs usually look different from those of the US
Round shaped instead of rectangular.

Looks like it’s a great time, Franz!

It is, really.
Next week we will move to another place.
There are tiny villages near the spanish border which are quase
uninhabited.
Many houses are ruins.
Not normal here.

Looks lovely, remember to sample the local beverages (the alcohol and non-alcohol varieties )

We all know that Portugal produces a lot of high class, famous wines.

All of you know the “Vinho do Porto” the famous Portwine.
The growing aera is in the region of the river Douro.
Another well known wine is the “Dão” from the region of the river Dão
But we are in the region of the river Minho.
This aera is famous of the so called “Vinho verde”
A light, sparkling white wine (ca 9%) when served cooled its very refreshing.

These are only some wines from the northern part of this little country.
There are many more, but these are the best known.
I am not such a wine connaisseur but I never got “bad stuff” here
since more than 40 years.

“A nossa saude” :wine_glass::cocktail:

Made a trip to Guadramil, a little village near the spanish border.
Only few old people living there.
Many houses ruins.
I found my dream villa there.
Need a little bit of restoring.

This is the house.

This is a view of the mainroad.

I would fit perfectly there regarding the people’s age.
