Thats true, the doors of many houses here are very low.
I hit my head often.
It can only be cured by a glass of excellent wine.

Too bad I can not invite you to have dinner with us.
Today’s dinner :
fresh tuna steak fried in the pan
some potatoes (new ones of course)
and a kind of ratatouille :
(tomatoes, red peppers, eggplants, courgettes and garlic)

The name courgette (english, french, spanish, portuguese) is french.
In the US and DE the name is zucchini ( Italian origin)

Sounds like a really tasty dinner @Chiquinho :yum:

Thanks a lot… now I’m hungry! Ha ha!! It’s lunch time here, so I will grab something quick at a restaurant so I don’t have to drive all the way back home! It won’t be near as good as what you listed, but it will work!

Many of our friends are always astonished when I tell
them we cook at vacations as well.
My wife likes to buy food.
And here in Portugal the quality of vegetables is really great.
We are always eating lot of fish here

Really easy to get here in the supermarkets and of course of excellent quality.

Our neighbour Manuel and his wife Donna Maria care about us a lot.
Today she brought a bucket full of cherries.
And it was not easy to persuade her that we never could eat them all.

So you all understand that I really care about @professor who has
only a kind of “hotdog” for dinner.
But he is a tough guy and will survive in those foggy mountains,

Well, at least he didn’t need to eat his shoe leather (boiled of course).

I am sure our friend @professor would do this if there is a real need.
BUT he would need a pint first and after.

I can cook from what’s in my pockets. This isn’t me but similar to what I have.

I have lint/pocket fluff in my pockets…not much to cook with nor to eat.

@AnkerOfficial Juliette, it is nice to see an actual person’s pic and name for Ankerofficial

We had Rosa at the very early days as a person ( I hope it was an actual person rather than a alias)

In the very early days we had “Lizzie” as admin.
She is working for another company now.
But I am still in contact with her.
Very good friends meanwhile.

Hope Juliette will stay here for a long time.

Mostly one will find only dust and small crumbs in the pocket, as @SZak2015 mentioned.
But for you as a minimalist it will be OK! :joy:
