Hmm.
No more flea markets.
All closed because of the “2G+” rule
That means : “geimpft oder genesen und getestet”
(vaccinated or recovered and tested)
Its not possible to check all this on a flea market.
So they closed them, not to get in some troubles.

Its snowing outside, so it would have been not such a lot of fun
to go there and of course there are less sellers.

I am waiting for the 4G rule!
“Geimpft oder genesen, getestet und gestorben”
(vaccinated or recovered, tested and died)
(bad sarcasm, I know)

Went upstate the other day to see some family and they had snow already pretty crazy. It really is starting to get cold .

It was a nice Saturday afternoon. A bit windy but that was it. We played some arcade games and went to see some Christmas lights. Too bad we gotta go back tomorrow :weary:

Thanks bro, it turned out pretty good. I don’t usually take pictures but I’m proud of that one. How was your weekend?

Lol if we were to get some snow here in North Carolina, schools and some jobs would close for a couple of days. I won’t complain since I’d still get paid :+1:

We got below freezing and some slight snow and we’re not far from a Gulf stream warmed sea.

It’s warmed up and raining now. :umbrella:

Didn’t it just!
The car doors were iced shut this morning when I left for work. That was a very emotional start to my day

Not bad, in midst of setting fixtures in the basement dunny.

Been rough go for the last month, getting everything along for finish up.

But, been fun

At least you are getting some done. I’ve been “getting ready” to clean my storage building outside my house but something always comes up :joy::joy:

The USA and Canada do a better job than UK for cold weather, they have garages attached to house and remote start vehicles. So you start your car from within the home then go to garage and leave. The garage is ventilated, not as warm as home but not as cold as outside. Combined with underground parking at the shopping center and work and it’s a comfy urban environment. I spent time in Minneapolis which seemed to do it quite well.

We own a garage too.
And we use it for the car, though its an old VW.

This luxury we can not afford!

Many others use their garages for storing a lot of their “useless things” .

Is it a VW Beetle? For a very long time, my next-door neighbor owned a VW repair shop. I worked there for a time with him and his son (his son and I were the same age). I loved the simplicity of the design…remove a couple of cables (throttle & fuel line), four engine mounting bolts raise the car a bit with the engine on a stand or jack and pull the engine out. No microchips involved!

Those were the cars!
Those were the days. :grinning:

In our days the motor can not be seen and of course not being repaired by DIY
If there is something wrong with it, a smart fellow shows up,
suit dressed, connects a laptop to the motor and tells you after 2 minutes investigation, you need a new car!
That’s technique and the resulting science!

No its not a beetle its a Touran,
15 years old
But we don’t use it often.
Here in the city is no need.
public transport is nearby (metro-station 5 min)
All supermarkets one can walk to or use the bike.
