Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

May be the flea markets will be closed here

soon.
So I was out yesterday and today.
Yesterday I bought these two so called “Foo dogs”.
These are not old, but I like them being very decorative.
And you see the monkeys are overwhelmed ans speechless.

Mind you it is handy to have a country with lower vacinnation rates go into lockdown, it helps prove that less vaccination = less freedoms to help reduce the anti-vacc fibbing gits.

You’re young enough you may be able to enjoy retirement at the large inland lagoon, sail across to have lunch at Peterborough-on-Sea

Or take a cruise around Gt Yarmouth Island?

I’ll be happy with a moat around our house, keep the beer things away
Yes, Norfolk will be a puddle in the not so distant future.
Maybe we plan ahead and start a Venice style future. Build houses on stilts and trade in cars for boats @professor.

Maybe time to buy property on higher ground for a rental income now and a future home for Charlie.

Indeed, perhaps Charlie can learn a certain type of construction?

Many parts of the world will become uninhabitable so those at higher latitudes and altitudes will be a good investment. Places now currently quite cheap to buy… Just not Hull.

Hope everyone’s had a great weekend life’s been a little crazy over here with school and everything. Started getting cold this weekend really shows winter is starting to come.

Yes indeed.
Fog outside, all leaves have been falling.
I am not such a friend of winter.
I was growing up in the alps, to many deep and cold winters in my youth.

Oh ja, have to scatter some food in the bird’s shelters in the garden.
Not to forget!

Hey Kaitlyn :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed:t2:
All well in our camp :+1:t2:
Weather has taken a noticeable turn here too.
I’m happy with cold as I like to wrap up warm and head out for walks. It’s the rain I don’t like.

How is school? What are you working on currently?

Definitely Franz :+1:t2:
Fat balls, mealworm and various seeds.
I recall as a kid my dad putting out his leftover maggots from fishing, the birds loved those!

Now “maggots” here Paul.
Not even in the flour! :joy:

And of course no fishing.
Not even, “Im Trüben Fischen” fishing in troubled waters.
