My feet yesterday, on outside of my left ankle was very painful, so today I figured I’d do low-level walking joined together by the bus.
Cyclist injured blocking the road. My thoughts with them.
Views from the day.

Great views and blue skies yet again.
Good idea sharing the load between walking and buses, hopefully the fallen rider didn’t bring back too many unwanted memories.
This is becoming the @professor daily blog, LOVE it
Stay well, keep safe and continue posting these great pics.
Heading home tomorrow - 3 buses!
Mundane tasks next, Ikea and then buying a home for a family member. It’s not difficult to get a house cheap, just as soon as you hear about it just act strange outside.
Carry a bible and shout loudly usually does the trick.
Very exciting photos, thanks for taking time to share with us.
Great weather here - > Flea market!
Always great to have the little Anker LC40 torch with me.
Small, light weighted and so powerful.
Its a need, because the market starts in the dark about 6:00 am
(crazy people, really)
I made some interesting findings, so I will take photos tomorrow.
Enjoy the weekend my friends & see you later!
Franz
Franz, do you have the original LC40 or the Bolder LC40? The original has the internal battery adapter for 3 AAA batteries to an 18650 cell size.
I use mine daily at home and work (keep it in my work/small tool/electronics/lunch bag that travels with me daily, to and from work) and charge the AAA cells when needed.
Thinking of getting a couple of 18650 cells and charger for extended run-time and easier charging. Any recommendations by any one (preferably from Amazon) would be greatly appreciated since it would be my first 18650 battery & dedicated charger (been using AA and AAA chargers and batteries from Radio Shack since the very beginning).
Happy weekend to you and all others reading.
Its the Bolder.
Though it is said it could not be opened, I am sure I would manage it
if there is a need.
Enjoy your weekend!
Franz
That drink looks refreshing hope you enjoyed your hike
Here some funny watches I got yesterday in the very early morning.
Made in the USSR about 1985.
But never worn (NOS)
All manual winding. (no charger needed! )
Big diameter! ca 40mm.
This is 24hrs watch. Not easy to read
its possible to display a second time zone with the second crown.
This a nice propagande watch “Glasnost”
Funny watch with a kind of “perpetual calendar”
But it ends in the year 2000.
I dont read Cyrillic, so I am not able to adjust.
But if some one would like to know what weekday was
the 29 October 1980 its possible to find out.
Thats a nice selection of watches from Raketa/Paketa.
I like the middle one, without the hammer and sickle.
Heres one I found on eBay.
This model is called the “BIG ZERO”
I remember when those USSR-watches showed up here first in the 1980.
A lady from Poland came to München occaisonally to the flea market.
She was traveling a lot, but she made good money she told me.
I still have some Poljot Chronographs
Another great watch.
There’s something about those USSR watches that have a classic look but also perfect for wearing today!
And most of these old ones are mechanical.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Sorry I’ve been a little absent this month it’s been kind of crazy over here on my end and free time has been limited. Love the photos of the cool watches. Hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoys the nice weather if they have it
Students have often limited time.
I know and understand.
But pensioners say they do also.
I am really wondering why.
It might be easier for me to Google that lol
These are manual winding.
Since 30 years I am a little bit collecting watches.
When I started I focused in military watches.
But meanwhile I stopped collecting.
I buy and sell.
A real collector could spend more than a fortune.
I never had a ROLEX!
What I really like most are the old OMEGAS from 1960-70.
Enjoy the week!
The modern version of the Silk Road.
We’ve had the first hint of Autumn, saw my first fog of the year (sorry no photo these were later)
The Moon and Jupiter.
You may be able to blame Jupiter for the seasons and the moon, due to it capturing large planets, throwing them inwards and one hit us, knocked our planet to make the tilt which causes the seasons and the debris formed the moon which then kept our precession low so we got stable tides and stable seasons.
The moon causes tides which meant frequent wetting of land which then gets sunshine to possibly helped create the environments for land based life (i.e. you).
So you possibly would not exist if not for the slight yellow dot in the sky.
