Thanks.

Iā€™ve spent now over six months keeping my lungs and heart as strong as possible for my personal encounter, whenever it happens, with the you-know-what.

Iā€™m seeing a lot of people around me less prepared.

60 miles biking with camping kit tomorrow. Do I believe the weather forecast and pack my 5C smaller sleeping bag or my larger 0C sleeping bag?

Puff. Puff.

Walk in the park for you @professor :+1:t2:
We did a walk at the coast today while Charlie cycled.
9 miles, such a disappointing walk as we didnā€™t stop at a cafe or pub. I will try harder next time

I have a -20C sleeping bag. When required. Actually itā€™s not so much cold but if you do a very energetic day and then donā€™t eat a big supper then it feels cold.

Most of the time I canā€™t be made to feel cold or hungry or tired, but once Iā€™d biked 160 miles and could not get warm.

Biking camping this week, then in a couple of weeks a hiking camping trip which needs it to be colder to not run out of water in the hills.

The additional weight of more down for cold is less than water.

I bet that kicks out some heat once itā€™s warmed through a Franz?

Its really a very big one!
If its warm it keeps the heat for a long time.
Old workmanship!

Lol we got different sauces, medium, barbecue, fireball and I forgot the other 2 sauces. They were spicy but nothing too crazy :+1:

Looks tasty, tough I dont eat such wings.
So I would like to taste the different sauces!

But its good that different people like different things, isnā€™t it?

Sounds like a good selection @ikari04warrior
I donā€™t tend to go for super hot wings, ruins the flavour of the chicken.

For the second day running our region is mostly windy!
Will that stop us from heading to the coast? Naaaah!

Good Paul.
You in the UK should know about ā€œstormy and rainyā€ weather!
Raincoat!

Here we got sunshine, but its cold. 8C

I have to prepare the rooms for the ā€œpainter menā€
Good, that we have space to store things in other rooms.

First we were 4 in the house, now after ā€œkidsā€ are out only wer two old ones are left.
Of course the house is now really too big, but we will never give up.

The most important thing here in MĆ¼nchen is the property.
And ours is large enough to build a triple span building on it.

 I wonder what was the coldest temperature you guys have ever experienced?

So as windy as it is, and considering its a northerly wind its quite mild.
The "feels like temp is 13C.
Hopefully your wood stove will keep you all warm @Chiquinho

Temperature is altered by humidity and wind to become ā€œhow it feelsā€. For example damp above freezing fast moving air is able to conduct heat more than below freezing dry stationary air. Plenty of places have low temperatures but itā€™s the ones with wind and higher humidity are the worse to experience.

Iā€™d say the coldest I experienced was in Chicago, where even a thick parka could not stop the cold finding its way in.

The coldest Iā€™ve been where Iā€™d underestimated the conditions was in Breckenridge Colorado where I had to nip into every other shop to stop my feet getting numb.

Say say -20C ?
