Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

Great question!

I was born in the Alps and had to get to the bus for school every morning
that was about 20 mins to go.
There was a cold wave in the 60’ies!
I remember - 29C (the snot was freezing under and in the nose :grinning:)
The school was warm so we all had to take off 3 pieces of long underpants.
But we made it!

OK heat!

I remember coming back from Patagonia (Argentina) it was about 15C there
to Buenos Aires Airport and the crew told us its 42C outside.
Bummm. I couldn’t breathe!
And in this moloch city - > 42C impossible.
Went to the mountains. quickly,

Enjoy all the Sunday my friends!

Franz

We too!
We always like to create new kind of meals.
Though we are “old” we do!
The more you are doing always the same things the more you get “stuck”

So the weather at Cromer this morning was nothing short of miserable.
But that didn’t dampen our spirits!

A few people on the beach in 50mhp winds

A collection needs to be arranged to repair the church roof.

And Charlie wasn’t pleased he couldn’t dive off the pier

Charlie is perfectly"wrapped"
Give him a virtual hug from “old Franz” in München!

I am missing the shore! (AIR)

Charlie says hi :+1:t2:Franz.
Anytime i mention you to him, he asks if you know our friends Michael and Biggi in Salzgitter

The coast holds many surprises as the seasons change.
Obviously is great in summer, but still has appeal in winter. Great walking along a coast path mid winter wrapped up warm in cols weather clothing.

This weekend is “painter’s weekend”
The preparation (taping) needs more time than painting.
But this has to be done perfectly.
Otherwise :

Argh, the dreaded “prep” work before painting.
The worst part, but the part to get right!
Poor masking, poor results.
Good luck Franz, i dont envy you!

The living really got “black” after using the tile stove for many years. :grinning:

But what is much more important :

Never use a cheap DIY paint .
The cheaper it is the more work.
And the result will be frustrating!
So we got that BRILLUX (profi stuff)

Ive found a new use for the Powercore :+1:t2:

Went back to the scene of the crime, where I broke my leg, recover the bike and camping kit.

A lot of sitting in back of car, longest car journey for over a year. Far nicer to get there via bike.
