Ja ja the snails.
But still good.
Worse if there are worms inside.
Have you ever been mushrooming?
Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)
I havenât Franz.
I donât have much knowledge and donât want to risk poisoning the family
I think we do have lots of wild edible mushrooms but better safe than sorry.
I was out with grandma when I was a kid.
But the mushrooms in the alps I was born are different from those here.
You are right Paul , without any knowledge DONT do it.
There is only one really mortal!
This one:
looks like a champion.
dictionary sais ; death cap, destroying angel ( like that english names)
But this one we all know!
They look so beautiful!
Sounds like it would be a real "adventureâ for me since I have no knowledge of mushrooms at all
And how about your cherries?
Oh yes there were more cherries about 15!
And not to forget the plums were about 12, as far I remember.
These pictures make me want to ask my wife very nicely to make some stuffed mushrooms with sausage lol I typically get yelled at because I eat them too fast for how much effort it takes for her to make them
There are many recipes around if you search for âSchwammerlsoĂeâ and âSemmelknödelâ
But I never use an onion or garlic for the âSchwammerlsoĂeâ (In my opion this would destroy the taste)
But I would roast the onion (gives a better taste)
O you can add some small cut pieces of roasted bacon (bacon cubes)
Will try something perhaps this weeekend
If there are more questions ask!
I am much better in cooking than in Watts&Volts
Found a tripod at the flea market.
(2 Euro)
I think thatâs a must have for the nebula Astro.
And I can use it with my CANON as well.
Slim and light weighted.
How long does it extend to.
115cm
Thatâs OK for normal use in the house
Great deal for only 2 euros. I think it is like 2.5 dollars here in the US.
Busy week merged into a busy weekend repairing the drive belt on a condenser dryerâŠnot bad for my first attempt and the Model Zero provided some classic tunes
Pretty compass!
Iâm with you on this one! I wanted to eat the random mushrooms I found when I was little until I found out not all of them were edibleđ
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Nothing really exciting happening over here. Just been doing homework and reading a little when I have the chance. Also for those who follow the Stanley cup championship game is coming up so that should be fun to watch
Would have been more difficult to change the bearings of a washing machine.
I did it some years ago with a friend.
But changing such a belt needs some skills!
Today I mounted a mirror and tomorrow I will install a lamp.
Used the old, modest, simple mirror which was in use before and will install an old lamp.
I dont like those stylish illuminated modern mirrors!
While âthe girlsâ are out to get some mushrooms.
I was busy to get âmenâs looâ ready.
Hope I am not boring you much to present you some photos of a âneanderthalian looâ
Mirror and lamp is ready
fits to the basin
So I added some decoration
(makes a loo more friendly)
The little elephant and the bear are known meanwhile!
If there are no mushrooms -> Plan B
Off camping tomorrow, gathering my kit together today. Pitched my dual wall tent and single wall tents in garden to check no leaks and all the parts there.
The single wall tent had a puddle in it just from dew dripping, the dual wall was dry as the dew had run down the outside of the inner skin. Pity as the single wall is a lot smaller to pack.
Biking and camping. Packing two Powercore 10000 PD and one Nano charger and will seek any sockets in the nearby pub, no phone signal but pub has WiFi so photos to follow. Given late September worthless packing my 21W Anker solar panel.
Mid way through season 4 of Babylon 5 , to finish watching in the tent.
The campsite is only allowing pre-booked, no walk-ins and fully booked weekends, so heading there weekdays.
