Last time I checked last week it was around $70 US dollars and that seemed like the normal price. Haven’t seen the price change for awhile. With a sale or discount the price would obviously go down. However as per the link the price has increased twenty dollars. I’m wondering if there is a newer version on the way or Amazon is trying to sneak a few extra dollars into the price.

Keep an eye on the ankerdirect eBay store I saw a refurbished one for $39.99 earlier this week.

Very strange that they would increase the price by that much. I wonder if it’s a mistake.
I see one on the eBay site and it’s the same price as Amazon. Not sure if it’s refurbished. 15w is 79.99
That’s what I was wondering. I usually check to see if it’s on sale or my chances of a lightning deal.
I’m positive the refurbished 21 watt model was $39.99 on Tuesday.

The pre owned one on that listing is something completely different.
That is a pretty big increase. I wonder why?

This is a long shot but maybe the huge price increase has to do with Trump’s solar tariffs on China.
Within the past week is when the price increase happened. Being that the days are sunny, this is a mystery
A bit off topic: I place my RavPower 24W solar charger in the sunlight of my room and got about 0.28A charge. Placed it directly in sunlight outsite and got a nice 1.6A. Indoor charging is perfect for tiny little rechargeable batteries (e.g., @ 100mAh)
Well, there are the solar panel tariffis that are in place and the panels are now 30% more expensive. As I’m pretty sure these aren’t manufactured in the US, the reason seems pretty obvious.
The question is when if it hasn’t already has gone into effect. It seems the tarrif is for bigger solar panels.

From what I gathered, the 30% solar tariff was on all solar products.
At this rate you probably could make them cheaper in the US.
Something like a tarrif would be a going into affect around New Year. Occasionally with most products a discount or sale will happen and you can purchase it cheaper. However it’s like comparing prices in a vehicle. Some will be cheaper with more freatures but the quality is known to not be the best.
PSA: Well guys, both Anker solar chargers are currently unavailable and the product listings on Amazon have been almost entirely scrapped of information.
I think it’s safe to say we won’t be seeing these models sold again. Maybe, just maybe @AnkerOfficial can surprise us with news of new models (with USB-C), but quite honestly, it seems doubtful at this point.
@AnkerOfficial - can you at least tell us the reason why they are discontinued? Was it the tariff?

Perhaps a newer model is in the works besides the “car charger” with the solar panels
