Here’s a little teaser of what I’m playing with these days. Full review by Tuesday or Wednesday.

I will say this, This is the speaker to get hands down. Looks great, sounds even better. The lights are an added touch, that when paired to watching a movie can actually enhance it. That’s all I’m saying til my review

Personally waiting for Flare+ in August.

You lucky, lucky, lucky…waiting for the review :ok_hand:

Hey once the Flare + comes out I’ll see if it’s any better. But for now this is my rocking choice :smirk:

Do you have the Pro or Boost to compare to for the review?

No, but I will be getting them soon

You should compare it with the Pro + or the Boost.
Lights are not so important.
(When listening to classical music I need no disco  )

Only THE SOUND makes the music!

Quick question, even though you might mention it in your review… Do the lights change color (user controllable or not, that would be cool). Sometimes, having annoying lights in your face isn’t fun, especially when listening to quiet music.

Oh, and you definitely need disco when listening to Rachmaninoff’s Preludes… just saying.

A halo of LEDs react and phase in time with the beat—5 color themes and 5 illumination patterns can be customized via the Soundcore app.

Done with the review yet? :stuck_out_tongue: I can’t wait for your review. And please give us a light show.

Really!
Old Rachmaninoff would have gotten crazy playing the Preludes in the middle of such a light show.
May be would better fit when listening to “The Light” from Phillip Glass.

Well technically I been done, but I’m waiting for something to come in to make the review even better and sweeter than what it was

This looks great, can’t wait for the review @elmo41683

Like another user here mentioned, can the flashing LEDs be disabled? If so, does it have to be done through the app and does the setting “stick” through power cycles of the speaker? No flashing lights lights for me so if I had to disable the LEDs through the app each and every time, that would be a deal breaker. Thanks for any info.

I’m sure @elmo41683 will answer those questions for you, either soon or in the review (also probably soon), but honestly if you won’t be using the lights, it might be better to go for a different speaker. I’m guessing that the lights hike up the price quite a bit, and perhaps a similar sounding speaker in the lineup is cheaper without lights.

We’ll see when we get the comparison from @elmo41683 with Boost and Pro/Pro+ in the final review. I’m sure he has a SoundCore, SoundCore 2, or Sport XL laying around somewhere, too. And of course Soundcore is releasing quite a few over the next couple months.
