PowerDraw Winner Anouncement (Weekly updates)

I’d not expect that.

They can control how applicable is the credit, e.g. not off discounted products, on their own sales platform. So it’s not really much actual $ as you can’t stack credit on discounts.

Imagine they allowed stacking, a 50% discount then doubled the $ value of credit, so their margins would go down more than a 0% discount.

Thread points mining, the lowest effort is to copy paste a music topic and create thread. So the rules drive the content. If you want different content, must change rules.

No chance.
We have to “wade” through.
But I dont, wasting time!

When I go there, I’m blasted with all this music/artists stuff. I thought it was supposed to be related to Soundcore products…kinda like it used to be way back in the beginning.

Meanwhile they are mostly in that Grammy and LÜM stuff.
If the “kids” like that, its OK of course.

That’s because the rules make it so. Threads must be product or music related otherwise mods delete.

The prizes require the site to be unpopular so fewest competitors to then just paste a music thread with the least effort to then win a prize most weeks.

There isn’t an easy fix, if you remove prizes then it just goes quiet instead.

Lol I feel the same way, I think Soundcore has great speakers and earbuds, don’t get me wrong, but I’m happy with what I currently have.
And my taste in music is a bit different lol

My thoughts too @SZak2015
I’m trying Soundcore but seems to be drifting away from there and here currently and can’t put my finger on why!

It was really nice place in the beginning, but now got more and more “lottery”.
Some forumners may like that.
Creating daily a pile of threads by cut and paste from some “music magazines”
only too gain points and taking part in some contests.

Don’t blame the individuals, it’s the ultimate output the admins causes, threads not on music closed, and prizes based on being a monthly top which requires to make a thread a day. Logic does the rest.

This place gets considerably busier around competition and prizes too.

If you call this logic, I dont!
But I dont mind and I dont care about.

Well it is logic, if you create a set of rules which promote a usage pattern then you cause the pattern. If you direct criticism to the user then they do it anyway in a different account.

Certain type of admin rules and prizes actively causes many accounts.

So this is why I prefer simply talent based prizes as then the talent is forced to come which always causes a general positive reaction.

You’re correct you have control of what you ignore.

That’s because the admin and guidance to moderators is more relaxed so more diverse, and the whole brand group (Anker, Soundcure, Eufy, Nebula) is more diverse than the narrower topic of just Soundcore or music.

I can see the argument to narrow and focus, I see the complementary differences. If you wanted to do a marketing push on a particular product, if you pushed it in this large diverse community, you’d be balancing more eyeballs vs the product being less of interest proportionally.

The more prizes are offered the more lurkers are around.
Win, win, win.
