Happy New Year 2021! Any positives from 2020?

We made it through 2020! There’s been no year like 2020, and I don’t want to downplay the challenges, sadness, and hardships that many of us faced. However, as we reflect back on 2020, were there any positives that came out of it for you?

For me:

  • I completed several online courses on various topics I’ve been wanting to learn
  • I found that I am very productive working from home
  • I completed some projects around the house
  • I saved money or travel and work clothes

How about you? Any positives from 2020?

Odd year, but my ability to predict how the masses work went well.

Analogy: a field of sheep all move around in unpredictable manners. Stick a wolf in one corner and the sheep then behave extremely predictably.

Hopefully you understand.

Happy new year!!

2020 for me taught me I don’t really like online class for university I like them when they are my own choice if that makes sense

It also taught me how to time manage and work hard to be able to pull off good grades this semester

I’m sure there were other things I learned too but not sure of them in this moment

Great achievements @TechnicallyWell

Ive had quite a succesful year. Personally for me its mainly been about health, which i guess is slightly ironic in the circumstances!

I’ve lost 15kg.
Got loads fitter, i was pretty much sedentry.
Reduced my body fat and BMI significantly.
Being furloughed and working from home helped with that.

I also changed jobs 3 months ago. Im less stressed, more focused and have a cheerier outlook.
So I’m looking forward to more of the same in 2021!

My wife had 1 positive and 3 negative tests this year.

:x: First COVID-19 test
:x: Second COVID-19 test
:x: Third COVID-19 test
(she works in healthcare so she gets tested regularly)

Those are some nice positives @TechnicallyWell
And congrats @onstar on the baby girl!

One of my positives this year was that I was able to paid off some debt so I’m starting this new year debt-free.
Now I just gotta try to save some money so I don’t rely on credit cards

I stopped having to get allergy shots every month. Not having to sit in the allergists waiting room for 30+ minutes with a bunch of strangers in 2020 was very much a positive.
