Thanks Paul.
I am not visiting restaurants often.
We are mostly cooking at home.
At Christmas eve we will do a kind of contest.
Each member of the family has to prepare his favorite “curry”.
A lot of fun I am sure.

And yes, an obligatory beer or two
Is this such a buffet “All you can eat”?
This is dangerous!
Each has their own variation, most allow an additional ‘top up’ on your veg, gravy & Yorkshire pudding…meats not so much…
I know now what this is.
Pudding is a sweet desert here.
Over here we call your “sweet desert” either sweet, sweet course, afters, last course, desert or pudding.
Variations seem to come from your location in the UK.
So many names for a desert !
But ultimately @Ice1 I don’t care what it’s called as long as it’s chocolatey and comes with icecream
Agreed, whatever they call it as long as it’s sweet to taste
Not keen on Englishy food myself, despite being born, bred & living in the UK! lol
Pizza is a family favourite, we love Mexican too, Nachos- Yum!(or fajitas, enchiladas or such like) or pasta, couscous, rice dishes etc!! Roast is a rarity here - next one will be Christmas day!
Dessert however is always welcome - preferably a cheesecake, brownie etc - if it’s got chocolate in it, it’s always welcome!
Mexican food is great. The spicier the better!
