Could Anker make a SmartWatch?

I really think Anker could make a really awesome watch. How about a SmartWatch? The battery life would be amazing! What do you guys think?

Yes. I do too but I think they should creat smartphones first.

One that included fitness tracker

A smartphone by Anker would be interesting. What would be the battery life?

Yes, fitness tracker would be a must. GPS, Bluetooth, Wireless charging. Can you think of anything else?

Style would be big. To separate from the Apple watch and other smart watches.

Camera in the watch?

I think a good enough camera could be implemented. What do you think the price range would be?

Not sure the price of the other watches, but something maybe UpTo $300

With all the technology, how about $1000.

Portable TV or radio with built in HD

Will never happen. lol

Traction in the market is weak, there has been only so many people who wanted a smartwatch and most bought and not seen a need to upgrade.

I see diametrically opposite asks in the replies already. Features = worse battery life, and yet battery life is important.

I have a Sony SmartWatch3, I paid $169 and it suits my lifestyle as I am a cyclist and being able to glance at my wrist while riding a bike is ergonomically easy, so much so I went back to a non-smart watch to see if I missed, and the hassle of hearing/feeling something on the phone to then have to pick up and look at the phone seemed so inefficient - I knew Smartwatches are a real help. My watch battery lasts 1-2 days and charges very fast.

I don’t have any wish to have fitness tracker. If I want to be fitter I know without any tech how to get fitter (duh, move faster and more often, duh). Just like to lose weight = eat less duh. I just need to have the least-effort knowledge of what I can’t know like who was that email from. The fitness related features in my SW3 I disable to save battery.

Most people right now do not see the point/benefit of a smartwatch so I think the killer need is to make a decent one for like $60-$100 to get it to the “why not” period with battery life of days.

I understand what you are saying. I completely agree with you. You do not need all the bells and whistles to get things done.

Losing weight is not always eating less. Some people like myself still use a log on paper to track workouts. A GPS would obviously tell you the distance. A longshot would be a treadmill or elliptical or bike to recharge any device.

If you want to weigh less, exercise more or eat less. If you want to be fitter, try harder for longer. Doesn’t need a gadget, not unless you are a professional athlete.

Or inhale helium or walk on the moon. ISS included

Ok in the tongue-in-cheek mode then why not cut off a leg? Instant weight savings.

(not serious obviously)

Wouldn’t it just be twice as much weight on one foot? It didn’t work for Garfield, but maybe a smart scale

They are mostly focused on accessories. But your battery life comments were intelligent!
