Position 1
Title: Brand Partnerships and Advocacy Specialist
Roles Available: 2
Reporting to: Head of Brand Partnerships and Advocacy
Location: Priority will be given to candidates in the US, UK, and China. Potential to work from home in other locations, depending on candidate experience and ability.
Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate partnership opportunities with elite influencers, celebrities and other companies.
- Take ownership of your brand’s social media platforms, ensuring a regular flow of creative, on-brand and business-driven content.
- Monitor, support and, where necessary, train the customer service team on social media customer care.
- Lead a team of copywriters, brand managers and creative designers in brainstorming innovative and on-trend social ideas/campaigns.
- Provide clear and detailed briefs to copywriters and creative designers, so that content is of the highest possible quality.
- Dare to think outside the box in ideating and executing social media campaigns that utilize all of marketing, including influencers, social ads, PR, EDM, website design, product design, and more.
- Research and understand our needs and target audiences, through online searches, media reviews, existing research data, consumer opinions, etc.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- At least two years of experience in influencer and/or social media marketing.
- Ability to spot partnership opportunities and negotiate a winning deal that benefits all parties and leaves everyone wanting more.
- A love for, and in-depth experience with, social media platforms, such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube. Twitch is also preferred, but not essential.
- Exceptional writing and research skills.
- Experience managing an online digital community or forum would be a plus.
- A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- A passion for tech or consumer electronics.
- A data-driven mentality.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a team player.
Position 2
Title: TikTok Content Creator
Roles Available: 2
Reporting to: Head of Brand Partnerships and Advocacy
Location: Priority will be given to candidates in the US. Potential to work from home, in other geographical locations, depending on candidate abilities.
Responsibilities
- Create multiple TikTok videos each week that align with brand messaging and deliver on key metrics such as views and engagement.
- From time to time, host livestreams to support key business events, such as product launches, marketing campaigns or major annual deals such as Prime Day or Black Friday.
- Cross-post your videos onto the brands other social media platforms or share videos with teammates operating on those platforms.
- Continuously understand and analyze the needs of the brand, and then ideate how those needs come to life on TikTok.
- Provide clear breakdowns in the form of reports on monthly performance and/or campaign performance on key metrics.
- Plan your work schedule carefully and flexibly as you work with colleagues based around the world.
Requirements
- At least 100,000 followers on TikTok or other strong evidence of success managing a brand’s TikTok account.
- A general passion for all things social media.
- Strong communications skills; both written and verbal.
- A positive, can-do attitude, team player and cross-functional collaborator.
Position 3
Title: Community Specialist
Roles Available: 1
Reporting to: Head of Brand Partnerships and Advocacy
Location: Shenzhen, China. Potential to work from home in other locations, depending on candidate experience and ability.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership over the day-to-day running of Anker’s community at community.anker.com by preparing regular content, responding to fans and organising community events.
- Working both independently and closely with social media colleagues, apply your knowledge of social media to drive community messages outwards and bring readers inwards, using social posts as bite-size chunks of your high-quality, long-form community articles.
- Provide clear and detailed briefs to copywriters and creative designers, so that content is of the highest possible quality. Where quality is subpar give feedback and guidance.
- Work with copywriters, brand managers and graphic designers in brainstorming innovative and on-trend social ideas/campaigns.
- Lead a re-design of Anker’s community to revitalize engagement, galvanize its users, align its brand identity and deliver on business objectives.
- Continually optimize the community to better support business goals by testing community features, reviewing customer feedback and sharing valuable insights with the website development team.
- Monitor and support customer service in responding to any potentially brand-damaging social media enquiries.
- Be a face for Anker’s social media from your daily presence inside the online community and, from time to time, hosting livestreams.
- Stay at the forefront of community and social media trends, especially as it pertains to ecommerce and tech industries.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Experience in copywriting, social media management or community management is preferred.
- Passionate about social media platforms, such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.
- Involvement in online communities such as Forums, Facebook Groups, etc.
