Beer Club Thread

Hi @Chiquinho @TheSnarkyOne
I will be “tasting” a few of these over the weekend and will let you know the results.
The charity is called Break. They help support vulnerable young people and families.
They receive donations from all over the world and also businesses in the UK.
If you can imagine it, they have donations of it.
Food, drink, toys, clothes etc etc.
It’s a fun few days helping out and also paid time off work to help!

I have not been on the Soundcore or eufy forum for ages, maybe a year or more.
Are there troubles/hassle there?
When there are things to gain or win it often cause disputes.

There are really troubles now, but we should and will not discuss here.
Not our business!

Suggestion, Paul :
Start with Weißbier then more and more “power” and the last will be a bock.
But be careful, result will be not only hassle at soundcore.

If anything like scotch, start with the best at first to better enjoy, otherwise 4 in, and they all taste similar…

But you have to know what is the best!

If I would have Paul’s collection I would get in real trouble,
though most of the beers are from Germany.
Many little breweries , I haven’t heard from.

I am really wondering what a kind of smugglers brought these to UK.

Could be “Flaschenpost” : bottle post.
So lets say “Bottle Prost”

Hey Neil, Prost from München.
I see the regulars are still doing their “beer jobs” perfectly.
I remember this bitter in UK, was never my taste.
Last not least I ended up with Guiness.
This was 50 years ago.
I am sure other beers are to be found there, brewed by micro breweries.

Hey Franz
I do my best :+1:t2:
Brewdog produce some great beer, and I’ve tried a few.
If I pick some of this beer up, I’ll drop a few photos.

I hope the beer gang are all keeping well?

I am fine here, Paul.

All fine with Debbs, Charlie & You as well?

Next week we will take our annual trip to the island as usual in november.

I was a football fan in the past, ( In the era of active Beckenbauer, Müller, Netzer etc.)
But now, no, thank you!

Big business only watching lazy millionaires.
Hope there is no one who will “out” him/her/itself…heheh!
(You know what I mean, could be dangerous in this country)

Currently weighing up more Amazon reviews vs a cold beer…what do you think guys?

Looks like homebrew not pub beer?

UK is only 34 years ahead of Qatar, so there’s some humility to have

I know old school friends in Qatar, and someone in Germany, China and other places.

What we hear publically, and what they do privately, totally different.

It is home brew, was referring to the style of the beer.

This is not a place for one who prefers Weißbier

Prost Neil!
What beer did you get?

This stein is only for bavarian stuff (Maßkrug = 1 Liter)
Used in beer tents and the Oktoberfest.
Not often at home.
But you can of course.
That’s the freedom of the beer drinkers

And you did a perfect job when filling
Exactly one liter (indicated by the “notch”) and enough foam.
You could do a job here as a bartender.

But you willloose it quickly.
The art of a skilled bartender is to create 130 X 1 Liter steins from a 100 liter barrel!

You see here how bad the steins are filled.
But of course you pay for 1 Liter.

Prost @Chiquinho

It was a Aldi own brand Rheinbacher Premium beer, OktoberFest edition 1L. Quite tasty :yum:
