Never had a beer from Brazil Franz.
Most of what I have in stock currently @chiquinho is from England, Ireland, Canada, China and this chilly pair from Iceland.

Well, there should have been a photo here but I am getting the error message… :man_shrugging:t2:

If you are persistent, the upload works after some attempts!

Yes, it worked this time Franz.

For tonight, I’m sipping Irish, and not Whiskey!

Doh, sneaky… I am not much for the Brazil beers, most I’ve tried are either too light or too skunky, or sometimes both

But if you are in Brazil you get no other ones.
Same is with Portuguese beer : A lot of chemistry.
Preservatives etc.
The list of ingredients reads like this of a medicament.

Agreed, that’s why I’ve switched to craft beer… also allows for some sampling of other styles not mass produced.

Tough choices. The local supermarket is making me fatter.

Some interesting looking cans there @professor
You’ve made a good selection, beer and snack!

Tough job but someone has to do it

Would be interested in hearing how the porter was. Had a really good craft imperial porter here last year, sadly they stopped making it :frowning:

In truth, didn’t like it. I actually liked the Landlord most.

I know taste is altered by what you had before so in effect its context sensitive. The pie before the Saltaire worked good.

Pale ale, I think?

Would have been good to swish with some scotch between beers

Missed the pie in the photo, was tooo fixed on the beers…

Don’t do spirits, all the “never again” experiences were on them. Beer only.

I like a Bock, harder to get now.

Seems the press here in Germany is lying (as usual)
There is no “undersupply” in UK.

Hey beer fans.
The weekend is upon us and it’s been a challenging week, so it’s a well deserved couple of pints.
Sipping and Irish Pilsner tonight.
It’s a nice full bodied lager.

What drinks have you got ready for the weekend?

I can not leave you alone in your kitchen.
You need a companion!
And who is it?
Of course its Franz the old friend from Bavaria!

Winter is coming, so we change to Dunkles.
Great beer!
You all see, it got a signature!

You’re welcome in my kitchen anyday Franz, and welcome to have to a beer too!

Ah yes, the signature. That always means a beer or wine is higher quality

I don’t know Paul about quality and signature.

I bought a 6-pack yesterday.
6 X 1/2L bottles for 3,99 Euros.
Not a bargain, but the beer is worth it.

Indeed it would be a huge fun, we both in your kitchen testing beers.

I am sure you could convince me in UK-breweries with all the “new” stuff,
I have never had a chance to test.
