Looks more like gravy than beer
Beer Club Thread
A disappointing disaster, tasted as rough as it looks.
One off beer isn’t going to ruin my night, onwards and upwards!
That’s not German.
Nothing important said here.
It is brewed in accordance with that German “Reinheitsgebot”.
Only hops, yeast, roasted barley (malt) and water are allowed.
No additions like stabilizers or preservatives are added.
Seems they try to brew a beer with typical german taste,
But we have as many different types of beer you got in th UK.
Weißbier, Helles, Dunkles, Pils, Kölsch, Alt usw.
And the famous Bock.
Its a nice beer.
Dark, strong smell strong flavour and 7.9%. A couple of these and i will fall asleep in front of the TV.
Charlie tried a little (shot glass) and loved it - he takes after his dad
Ginger Baker (RIP), Jack Bruce (RIP) and Eric Clapton many years ago.
Strange brew indeed!
I didn’t drink it, I feared my stomach might be grumpy tomorrow if I did
We have a saying :
What the farmer doesnt know he doesnt eat.
The Italians may know how to create a good vino,
but beer???
Same are the Portuguese.
I do not touch the beer here.
Seems we can not work as worldwide “beer testers”.
May be we got an offer from Pei to test some chinese beer one day.
We will do it for the family. We will be tough.
Hmmm
So what are Germans bad at?
There are many things we are very bad at, but I will not start that.
To get censored and banned after.
But for example lets talk about food.
We have learned so much from other countries.
My mother ( Austrian) was perfect in the Vienna cuisine.
Mainly Vienna Pastries.
But not in others.
That’s a good saying Franz.
I don’t think I’ve ever had Chinese beer, but would be willing to try
We will "We are the testers"
Tomorrow flight home.
Will be pretty cold there.
All good things must come to an end Franz, but only for now.
Tomorrow is your flight home. But when you are home you can look forward to and plan your next holiday!
How are you spending your final night?
Sleeping and snoring!
You’ll love getting back into your own bed Franz
BBC News - Beer and crisps used to help tackle climate change
Feed the world.
With Crisps (USA “chips”)
From beer.
So save the world with beer.
What a great idea and a great story @professor
Also great to see a start up in the UK thrive and being able to work with the big corporates.
I hope the relationship does well for them and they can maintain their individuality.
Better is beer only and no chips!
