I’m on painkillers about 10% of the time, mostly just for middle of night leg ache. It’s not that painful in truth. Not needed any for 2 days.

A friend has had his appendix out yesterday, I expect they worse than me today. He can’t have any beer for a while.

Beer increases blood flow to the skin, so accelerates wound healing.

Keep repeating that…

Wound not leaking, opposite, the wound healed so quick (beer!) it began to grow over stitches so pulling them needed an antiseptic patch to be safe.

Feeling good!

Ah! We are having another COVID outbreak locally. I expect my brewery to close soon.

By the way, that’s a nice looking pub. Are you drinking in Hogwarts or something?

Seriously though I love the decor. Those benches look mighty comfortable.

The UK rules change daily, it’s too complex to neither justify nor explain. Decision by committee.

Where I am the pubs close 10pm, you have to put mask on outside until you’re at your table, it’s table service only, staff take orders and bring everything - like a typical USA bar - to keep people from mixing.

Soon (my expectation) the next level is you can only go to the pub for a “substantial meal” which is open to huge interpretation, someone could order a meal, not eat it while drinking, then go home with it, so ordering rather consuming. The Government basically wants to stop people getting drunk and mixing up irrresponsibly and if you eat a big meal it’s then nigh impossible to get drunk, that’s the origin of the notion, but the law cannot affect the sequence of food-then-drink vs drink-then-food.

This pub has growlers to go, I had 2 pints in the place and took 4 pints home. I am wary of being drunk in charge of crutches.

I know how to make beer, if it comes to that. Not difficult, about 3 weeks elapsed from scratch.

In UK, if you wanted to stop the virus, lock everyone aged under 30, particularly any student, in their bedroom til April, they are the primary transmission right now.

I see you got all the essentials with you :joy:

Well almost, now I do.

So that’s all the Vitamin Bs from the yeast in the beer, hydration to boost blood flow, and calcium in the cheese and protein. Physio, exercise to get into and out of pub.

The perfect leg-healing combination. Medicinal.:innocent:

Now that’s a perfect combination :+1:
I’m sure it will speed up the healing :sunglasses:
