You told us you have 4 crutches?
You are lying!
These are FIVE :joy:

Enjoy @professor :+1:t2:

All these photos are from a 5-mile round trip from my front door to my front door. It’s a little hazy around here from wildfire smoke which makes for good sunsets if slightly uncomfortable hiking at times. The beers at the bottom are Single Malt IPA on the deck at Blackfoot River Brewing. It was a good day. Hope these photos lift your spirits and that you’re doing well @professor!

Thank you, @professor!

@chiquinho I had some roast chicken, spätzle, rotkohl, and brezel with my Oktoberfest Bier last night. :+1::grin: Prost!

Sehr gut!
Bravo!

The only thing I would change : A “Schweinshaxe” is better than the chicken,.
But may be only I dont like chicken so much!

Do you know that “Rotkohl” is only used in “Prussia” while we here in Bavaria we say “Rotkraut”-
Of course we are all “Krauts” here, but this comes from “Sauerkraut”.
Same in Prussia and Bavaria

The beer and the stein looks very familiar to me!
(beautiful color of the beer!!! I like “Dunkles”)

A clincking PROSIT from München

Unfortunately no OKOBERFEST here this year!

PS : What did you put on the “Bretze” (1. Photo)

They called it obatzda - homemade beer cheese with brie and some other ingredients. All this was made by a friend of mine in his home. He is a kitchen hero

Wahnsinn!
:rofl::rofl::rofl:

The fellow must be a Bavarian!

I make this too always when meeting with friends in the Biergarten.
Ask him for his recipe.
May be we can exchange some experience.
Meanwhile I am a expert in preparing this “Obatzda”

I dont use that homemade “beer cheese”
I take Romadur

Brie or Camembert is fine!

And there is a trick I will tell him! …eheheh!

He is an American fellow but his family is from Asia Pacific…making Bavarian food in his kitchen! A very smart guy and a fun friend as well.

I think there may have been Cambert in this obatzda as well. I did not hear all of the ingredients.

One funny thing - He had all the children working to make the brezel. One would dunk into the water, one would take it out, another would brush the brezel, another put on the pan, another to put in the oven… all while the parents drank the beer and ate the brezel and obatzda. I thought it was a very good plan

The asian Bretzen and Obazda-factory.
Great.

Ask him about the ingredients we can swap recipe via pm,
because this might not be of public interest!

Looks delicious @gAnkster

Strong enough to hop into pub for some hops.

Getting an expert with crutches faster than walking speed. But look out for wet leaves and wet metal.

Hahaha!
Great photo!
Fantastic!

A pub with a sofa for such “handicapped” boozers.
Even if they fall a sleep they can stay.
Will be woken up with a fresh pint!
Ring ring…
It’s time!

What’s inside my “pillow” leg rest. Got my new 20000 PD to last any lengthy hospital visit.

Perfectly equipped.
If these are pills you will not need those in the near future.
The other things my stay! :grinning:
