hi I bought PowerConf last week and I have been facing this problem where the part on the other side of the lines is not able to hear my voice during the call. I notice this happens when I try and reduce the volume of the speaker - has anybody else faced the same problem ?
Anker PowerConf Speaker
@Haseeb.haque Some of us on this community own the PowerConf, but yet to hear the issue you have mentioned.
I would recommend you update the Firmware on PowerConf to latest, by connecting to Soundcore App, and using the “Single-Person mode” if you are the only person using it at a time.
- How are you connected to the PowerConf – PC / Mac – Via USB-C OR Smartphone via Bluetooth?
- what service are you using for the calls?
- Is this happening for all calls / Some calls?
- Is this happening for All Participants / Same, few participants?
- How close / far are you from the PowerConf when you speak during the call?
Also write to Support@Anker.com with the details to get official response / support. We on community will provide our inputs as well!
Hey @Haseeb.haque
Thats an odd one and something i haven’t experienced myself. Well, only when the people at the other end of the call are having problems.
I concur with @Shenoy recommendations.
Keep us updated with your progress.
This might happen when the wrong microphone is selected in the settings of the teleconference app you are using. Make sure the Anker powerConf Microphone is selected. Also check if there are any other settings like feedback cancellation activated (try turning on or off). Also check in control panel that the PowerConf is the default microphone selected. In the microphone properties, you can also select the microphone level and whether other apps can have access to control the volume. There is probably an advanced setting to turn ALC (Automatic level control) off or on.
Kind regards
Chris
