Anker PowerConf and H700 dropping from Teams calls

I own both a PworConf and an H700. Both have been working well. Over the last month, both devices drop off of Microsoft Teams calls. I used the H700 2 days ago and in 8 minutes it dropped off the call 10 times. When I paried the device directly via Bluetooth and didn’t use the dongle the problem went away.

Yesterday, the same thing happened to me with my Powerconf. Connected via USB, it kept dropping the call on Teams. When I unplugged the USB cable and paired via Bluetooth, the problem went away.

I’m on WIndows 11.

I don’t mind using Bluetooth, but the range on the H700 is much better using the dongle instead of Bluetooth.

I used the Ankerwork app to check for any firmware updates and everything was up to date.

I also have a Jabra Evolve2 65 with a JabraLink 380 dongle and that does not give me any issues.

I am having almost the same issue. I use a Anker S3 and since about a month almost any TEAMS call gets terminated after 5-20 sec. I have gone through a full re-install of my Win11 System now but the problem persists. After disconnecting any connected device it turns out that the problem only occures when the S3 is connected to the PC!

Same issue. Just bought the device for our office. TEAMS call get dropped when connect by USB only. Bluetooth connection operates normally.

We have the same Problem, at first i thought it was the Teams installation, but after unpluging the Powerconf S3 it worked without a drop. Somethings seems to be wrong with the combination of teams + Powerconf

I have the same proble, the headset disconncects suddenly from the MS teams calls, i’ve already reset/re-pair the bluetooth but it is the same

I just experienced the same thing with my Teams call. I have mine connected via USB. I know it is the PowerConf if I switch to a different audio device my Teams call doesn’t drop.

Anything from Anker? This was happening about six months ago, then after a Teams/Windows update, it stopped and started up again recently,

The Jabra 370 and 380 have zero issues.

Come on Anker, let’s get this fixed!

Same issue. It’s only on the USB connection, Bluetooth doesn’t have issues. I’ve also noticed that the Web version of Teams is stable.

I initially thought it was something to do with ARM64, but that doesn’t seem to be the issue

Same here… same issue with MS Teams. I have the H700 and my wife has the H500 headset, and we both are experiencing this issue with Teams dropping the calls when using the PowerConf headsets. Hope Anker delivers a fix for this since it seems it is an issue with the usb dongle for different devices

This is what we are seeing too. Very annoying

Experiencing the same issue on my Windows 10 desktop and Windows 11 laptop.

I have two H700s,

1 for my desktop

1 for my laptop that I travel with

The issue started on the Desktop Windows 10 H700, so I put that one away and started using the laptop H700 for both and just moving it back and forth between them. Eventually it started on that one as well.

I’ve had to move back to a wired 3.5mm wired headset and webcam combo. It’s systemic. Both of them are using the latest firmware. I would love to be able to move back to a previous working version. (If that is the issue. i have no idea)

A few people I work with have the same model and they’ve all reported this issue.

At this point this thing is just a brick. Waste of money. Spread the word

Any feedback on this issue I have a H700 and experience the same problem. When using usb dongle teams drops you from the call

I thought it was just me!!! I have the Ankerwork S600 and every time I’d get on a Teams call, within 2-3 secs, my call would drop. Like everyone else, at first I thought it was Teams but after trouble shooting, it is definitely my Anker S600. It was connected directly to my laptop via USBC and once I switched it to Bluetooth, it started working again.

Super annoying Anker. Please find a fix for this.

I do have the exact same problem. Come on Anker, get this fixed!

Sadly this problem doesn’t look like it is going to be fixed for a while. I was looking into it and apparently it is a driver issue, The only work around at this current moment is to use Bluetooth. Also do tower computer users get the same issue or just laptop users. And if tower PC user do have this issue does it help changing the USB port from the one on the motherboard to the case or case to the motherboard. I hope this could be of use.

I’ve seen that the MS Teams disconnections happen with the use of the H700 and the USB bluetooth dongle that came with the unit, I’ve tried using another USB olny audio dongle (Jabra link 380) and it worked fine during the entire day, however at the moment to turn them off it wont connect automatically and need to pair them again, having said that I believe it is something with the connection, so it has to be fixed with a firmware upgrade.

I’ve been suffering from this issue for the last 2-3 months. After seeing a couple comments here, I tried to quit using USB dongle today.
The result was astonishing. 3-time kick-outs from single meeting turned into 3 consecutive successful meeting.

Remove USB dongle and pair H700 and PC directly.

I cant rely on bluetooth and don’t want to have to switch bluetooth connections everytime I switch machines. Retired this paperweight. Got a Jabra Speak2 55 and haven’t had any issues, the noise cancelling is solid and people say they can hear me perfectly. Shame that Anker won’t even stand behind their product. I also noticed, I can’t find my Anker Conf+ even listed on the Anker site anymore, meaning its discontinued and they probably have no intentions to fix this. Where is the support?

I have the same issue with the H700. Everyday I want to cry.

Same. Disappointing. I love the headset otherwise.
