i have powerconf s3 and face same issue with teams using cable.
Anker PowerConf and H700 dropping from Teams calls
I am having the same issue. It is specifically for a work Windows 10/11 enterprise laptop. This started on August 4th for me. Specifically, after a Microsoft teams update.
I am using an Anker PowerConf model A3301. It has updated drivers and firmware. When I am connected through USB cable, I am dropped from my calls when I use the PowerConfâs microphone through the USB cable. Using the speaker without microphone does not kick me out of calls.
Using bluetooth to connect to PowerConfâ microphone is a workaround. Bluetooth sometimes has connectivity issues, so cable is definitely a better experience. I donât have any issues when using a USB cable and microsoft on my personal Windows 11 laptop.
OMG! Thank you SO much for this post. I have been desperately searching for a work around. I did contact Anker Support and had a wonderful experience with them, however, all they could offer was to replace the headset and since I didnât purchase directly through them, they could not verify a warranty. I was NOT ready to throw this thing out (PowerConf H700) out because when it DOES work (on ZOOM itâs fine), itâs clear and crisp. So in frustration, I did yet another Google search and this came up almost immediately, not sure why I didnât find it sooner. BUT I removed the dongle and paired directly with my work laptop (DELL/WIN 11) and tested by calling my cell phone⌠didnât drop once. I will be in a DEV Teams meeting soon, I am hopeful I can actually participate! Again, thank you SO much.
What good would replacing the headset do?
