Anker Arcade

@AnkerOfficial A bit of a random idea, but would you consider having an arcade section on the Anker community forum? You could feature a number of single player and multiplayer puzzle, arcade, physics and flash minigames to pass the time between posts…

It would boost activity on the forum, further connect members from all over the world and possibly attract even more new friends…Perhaps you could even design your own minigame too? Anker Crossword/wordsearch, word games, riddles etc…

You could also feature a weekly, monthly and all-time leaderboard…The possibility of winning small prizes/points would be an incentive but wouldn’t really be essential as people visiting might just fancy a little competition, although it might even be an idea to offer small XP boosts (with a daily cap) for leaderboard winners to level up on the forum!

I dig this idea, although the points for winning should only be allowed once per day for getting on the scoreboard. Otherwise people will play games all day to dominate them and rack up points

I would be up for that!

That said, we must see it from the community’s management end. Doing such a thing is a whole endeavor, even if they don’t create the games themselves.

it would take a lot of work though for something like this to happen and they are already on top of so many things such as the company the forum giveaways and the power draws.

@tiagomota I agree It would take a lot of work, trial and error but there must be a few website/game techies on here who could offer a hand?

@ktkundy I get you, I guess it’d have to be a slow process and there’d have to be a way to make it self-sustainable

Ooh, how about you have to use 1 powerbuck to play. The reward would be if you got in the leaderboard you get x amount of powerbucks.

I like the idea of pay to play with Powerbucks, it helps circulate them and would give people something to play for. If it becomes popular the wagered Powerbucks could be split up between winners and runners up.

It might encourage people to be more competitive and possibly increase referrals, as long as it doesn’t stray too far away from the brand’s image.

YESSS!!! Awesome idea! An Anker style DOOM video game would rock! Those with PS3s, do you all remember Sony Playstation had a social area where you can gave a house, play pool against other users and run around a virtual city? I know that’s wayyyyy too much but it would be awesome to see everyone here in avatar format.

Anker might as well build their own gaming platform as a side project,
