Anker Arcade

It could be called Ankerstation lol

No the Ankerstation name is already being used for their portable battery banks that are spread all around China and various airports and restaurants

Really? First time hearing about it

That’s a shame, that does sound like a good name for a console…I suppose they could call it the Anker Arcade tbh, they could do something snazzy with it like ā€˜RKD’ or ā€˜Rcade’

It’s a good topic, I will discuss with my team, let’s see if we can make it a reality.

That would be great! It’d be interesting to see the outcome!

It’s not a professional blueprint and there’s obviously no science in it but I drew a plan of what I think the Anker Rcade console would look like if it were a reality. I’m not 5 years old by the way I just don’t draw very often :joy:

Can’t wait to hear updates about it

Awesome concept @shanesomnia ! A console and multi-charger all in one! Gotta love the wireless charger for the controller on the top!

@dicejedi Thanks! I’m not sure how it would work or how it’d fit together but I’m sure Anker could find a way :joy:

Sounds fun!

Now, this is quite exciting because I’m foreseeing Anker possibly combining forces with Sony Playstation, Microsoft Xbox, and Nintendo! To be able to charge a controller from the top of a console is genius! No more direct USB connection or having to replace AA batteries on the controllers. Hmmmm! I am a gamer and to be able to charge the controller wirelessly is a really big plus! I really believe this is something that can be very profitable for Anker

The wireless charging idea was inspired by Anker’s Powerwave charging pad, I figured if they could charge phones like this they could surely fit it into a controller’s battery pack or built into the controller itself!

I feel like if they created a games console, they could branch out with slimmer models, e.g if it was called the R-Cade, they could bring out an R-Cade Mini or Portable, perhaps even a portable LCD/Tablet which connects to Anker devices.

Collabs with game companies would be nice too, once people buy their consoles, sales of Anker products will blow up as it becomes an even more widely recognised brand.

Personally I’d prefer to see and Anker app before I see an Anker arcade

I agree It would make the forum more convenient! Notifications and ease of use when on the move…

I feel like the arcade is a good idea but the app should be the first step because then notifications will be easier and it will make the whole thing so much easier then the arcade can be added in later

100%, I assume it would be easier to design games for an app than a website, and it’d be more efficient to build the app then add the arcade at a later date

Yes I would love it
