Your transformer is not capable to power up the doorbell

I purchased the T8200 doorbell, and reports “The transformer is NOT capable to power up the doorbell. Please upgrade your doorbell transformer with 16VAC, 30VA output.”

I initially replaced my transformer with 16V, 30VA and continue receiving same error, then I replaced it with 24V, 40VA transformer and still getting the same error during doorbell installation. Is there anything I should try to fix this?

Hi @jpatelshared if your wiring is correct and the transformer is of spec (16vac/30A), I would suggest you reach out to support@eufylife.com with the issue and troubleshooting steps you have taken as it sounds like it could be a defective unit.

The new eufy doorbell comes wired and it must have an existing wire with low voltage transformer for eufy Video Doorbell. Make sure the transformer for doorbell delivering 16-24V AC, 30VA of power.
