In an effort to consolidate accessories in my everyday bag, I was hoping the setup in the photo below would work (so I didn’t have to carry an additional 2-port USB wall charger). But it doesn’t seem to have any power flowing through the lightning cable.
Is this a technical limitation? I do think my hub is a few years old, so I’m also curious if this might be possible on the newer hubs.
