Wireless power charging issue

I just bought the wireless charging station for Apple phones, iwatch, and earphones…When I plug the unit in (not the wall, but the unit), I see the blue light that it is on, but as soon as I put it on the table, the light goes off and my items don’t charge…do I need to exchange it?

You need to make sure you are using a Quick charge 3.0 power plug otherwise it won’t supply the proper power to the charging pads and they will not work

So the light goes out when you place it on a table? Dodgy wire? Metallic table absorbing the radio and triggering foreign object detection?

How do I determine if I am using a Quick charge 3.0 power plug? I’m using what it came with, but it didn’t come with the connection piece that goes from the UBS to the wall that says 5v and all the standard Apple cubes.
As for the table, it’s solid wood.

It’s weird, when I plug it into the device, sometimes it stays on, sometimes it doesn’t. Or does the blue light simply imply that something is charging?

Is it

**Notes:** iPhone 5V / 1A stock chargers and computer USB ports do not have sufficient output to power your PowerWave. Cases made of metal and attachments such as magnets, cards, and grips will interfere with charging. Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 wall adapter (9V/2A) required for fast charge mode.

You need a QC2 or QC3 charger 9V 2A, it will say 9V 2A on the charger and have a USB-A port.

Take a picture of the charging brick and post it here. Make sure it shows the specs and we can help you
