This is kind of a post in response to @Spotlight61 's post about new technologies we would like to see. As time passes, more and more technology is going to be created that is going to revolutionize the phone and electronics industry. If phones get to a point where charge isn’t an issue, or sound isn’t an issue, why will Anker keep going? By the way, I believe that Anker will keep it up but I am just wondering how newer technologies will revolutionize the industry.
Why will Anker keep up?

There will always be a need for more power and versatility to be off the grid. So no matter what new technological advances manufactures come up with I still forsee a need for a company such as Anker.
I expect the situation from a century ago of more local power generation, which was into more centralised power generation, will move more back to decentralized.
I expect more decentralized power generation, more local power generation, and more local power storage.
I expect more solar and wind, and more use of local energy storage.
So imagine a house of solar panels and a big battery and eventually hydrogen fuel cells in the home, these then charge your car.
So imagine the electrical equivalent of the energy situation of say the 16th century. In the 16th century the food was grown locally, animals were grown locally and fed locally to transport food ( = energy) then in the local market, you worked locally and got your food ( energy) local and consumed it locally. Excess energy was stored in humans getting fatter, and use of jam, beer, salted meat, to consume later in energy famine.
The 21st or 22nd century equivalent would be more use of solar and wind, local production, local storage. home energy storage in voltaic methods, fuel cells, and then in your house you’d be more charging your phone off the stored power in/near your phone.
The sun gives us all the energy we possibly need, it is just a matter of our tech on collection, storage.
