Cardistry if basically flourishes and tricks with cards. There is not magic to it so you donā€™t need people to ā€œperformā€ in a sense.

There are a couple types of card ā€œtricksā€

Slight of hand/loading the deck ā€¦ pick a card! The vast majority of ā€œtricksā€ are like this. Mainly cos theyā€™re the easier ones to do. Something you can just learn!

Tricks/magicā€¦ I think are more, a signed card appearing in a sealed device/item or predictions/reveals. Iā€™d say these are a bit trickier (pun intended) and involve more than pure training, more have a knack for or a gift.

Almost. Slight of hand would be considered the advanced and ā€œcoolerā€ version of magic. Not the same as loading the deckā€¦

I practice magic a lot actually. I should have included in my first post (I was sure I forgot something :joy:). I learn slight of hand and advance techniques. I personally donā€™t like the first category you mentioned (loading the deck, E.G cheap tricks) because it demeans to real magic and real slight of hand. It basically cheapens the industryā€¦
