Why does the iOS app want to know our location all the time?

The iOS app asks for permission to track location permanently.
Why is this?
How is the information used?
What advantage is it for me to allow this?
Is this information stored or transferred anywhere?

What app? Can you not sent it and still get all the features?

The only iOS app that I have/know of is the Soundcore app and it does not ask for your location information. Any other app is not Anker related as far as I know.

I’ve never had a soundcore app ask me on android or ios for that info. But if Some of their other brand smart device apps require.
