Who's playing Super Mario Odyssey?

Did you pick up the latest Super Mario game over the weekend?
I’ve been playing it and – WOW! – it’s one of the best games I’ve played in awhile! I can’t believe the level of detail in the game (for example, if you put down the controller, Mario eventually takes a nap and a bird flies down to rest on his nose) and all of the hidden areas. I hear the game is fairly short if you just follow the direct path through the bosses, but I’ve spent hours already on a single kingdom tracking down all the Power Moons.
What are your thoughts on the game?

Aww I see. The last Nintendo game I actually played was on the original Nintendo system… Duck Hunt days. LOL… Is the Nintendo Switch all it’s hyped up to be?

I’m really enjoying the Switch. The portability is definitely nice. I can play it on my TV for the full “console” experience, then easily pull it off my dock and take it with me when I need to leave, picking up exactly where I left off. I had to travel last weekend so it was definitely nice being able to play Odyssey while away from home.

Gaming systems have come a long ways. And gaming can be quite addicting. I remember being up day and night playing Crash Bandicoot on the Playstation. You would have thought I was glued to my living room chair for a month! LOL…

The first thing I did with my Switch was install an Anker screen protector! :wink: :thumbsup:

The only Nintendo consoles I had were a GameBoy Pocket and a GameBoy Advance.
Never bought one again after that…

Really want to get the game but going to wait till it’s a bit cheaper! Been obsessed with Stardew Valley at the moment though. So good for the price!

I’m playing it as we speak! and it is such an amazing game, I love how we can travel to different worlds other than the mushroom kingdom. It has that feeling of super mario galaxy, super mario 64, its an amazing game! 10/10!

Hmm, I don’t know what is the reason, but I’ve never heard of this game. The design is simply amazing and I want to test it already. How does it work on windows 10? I tried looking at some unofficial remakes and they are just awful. After that, I was disappointed and started looking for emulators to play the original version on the PC. I found a cool assortment of free games at https://romsie.com/roms/super-nintendo and I have already downloaded all versions of games from this site. I have 90 days to complete all levels :slight_smile:
