IMO It started out out as a unique POV experience for new and unique items, especially with big name YouTubers…now it’s become a photocopy bandwagon for some…wash, rinse repeat…though on occasion with some individual content…

I never understood that “event”.
For me unpacking is easy.
But when I have to wrap the item again, its not so easy.

Neil I watched your videos, I don’t think I saw any unboxing videos, just inciteful critiques.
Ryan has done the odd fake unboxing, he’s unboxed and reboxed then on camera pretending to unbox.
I have? 
If I include an unboxing in my video, I typically do it at 2x or 4x the speed as I’m not a huge fan of unboxing videos myself.

Yes Christmas, opening presents.
But you dont know whats inside!
Electronic items, no such a surprise,
When opening only praying that its unbroken and working!
And keeping the wrapping in perfect condition to box it again and send it back, if not so!

I’ve opened many anker boxes, even if it’s a cable or a power bank, I’m still excited! The smell, the idea of opening something and expecting a surprise! The idea of seeing the product for the very firs time makes me happy like opening Christmas presents. However, opening anker products is much more exciting than Christmas presents. As most of my presents has been nothing but clothes!
