As the title states, what kind of tech items did you receive for Christmas? or did you give tech items away?
I myself gifted my son a Rasberry Pi 3 and the Sunfounders sensor and starter kit so he can dive into the world of coding and creating fun projects. I myself did not receive anything tech related, but i did get some hot sauce 
My wife and I have been going towards the āexperience giftsā lately, so we got ourselves tickets to the latest Cirque du Soleil show - which we will be seeing tomorrow.
But I need a new mouse, and Iām looking at some Boxing Day prices now. Iām looking into a set of very specific specs - Bluetooth, Mac compatible with a way to perform some useful Mac commands such as Mission Control and ExposĆ©, and ergonomics. Iām currently using the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse, which is checks all the boxes except for the ergonomics one - itās tiny. Right now, Iām gravitating towards the Logitech MX Master S2 or the MX Anywhere S2 - both are basically the same, but the Master is larger and might fit my hand better - but itās also 30$ over. Iām pondering if itās worth it. If you know of any other option that checks all my boxes, please let me know!
I got a Google Chromecast and a Google Home MIni. So far, Iām enjoying them really much, especially the Google Home Mini. There is so much features on it. I like the feature where you can play games with it, like trivia, Mad Libs, etc.
I would say try the pen command but itās shaped like a pencil with a base and you hold it like you would a pen, but it does take some getting use to and Iām not sure what it supports in terms of Mac commands. Personally I would stick with the Logitech MX Master 2S, itās the latest revision and one Iām most comfortable holding long term. I had the old mx revolution and this is the next best thing imo.
I got my first ever MacBook Pro!
It is an early 2015 13" model with 16GB of RAM.
I was also surprised with Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office, and the entire Adobe suite!
I also finally got a USB meter and Apple Pencil for my iPad Pro!
Wow, thatās a nice haul. Iām jealous haha, like I mentioned above all I got was some zombie branded hot sauce

I didnāt get any tech gear but did gift a couple of iPhones, Soundcoreās, an Xbox and a smart Tv. Been fun playing with all of this.
I did get a coin case, some smelliest, pants and socks (of course) FIFA 18 and Iām taking the wifeās grandad out to the footy today 
We got two segway miniās which are fun
I got a gopro hero 5 black and bought myself some airpods with some gift cards I received.
My most favorite thing of all was a Husqvarna Chain Saw lol

I got a Mynt Foot Massager with air and heat. And about 5 gained pounds from all this darn holiday food 
I gave a portable charger to a family member, games and some Xbox accessories. I myself received a PS4! Iām team Xbox but I canāt wait to play the PS4! Hope your son enjoys the Raspberry Pi 3 and create some great things with the kit!
I just gave some things like a wireless mouse and a 6ft PowerLine II Lighting cable.
A first for me, none, completely zero tech related items receivedā¦but several Anker and non-Anker items were given to family members as gifts 
I was surprised myself as I usually get something tech related or even car related. But alas it was hot sauceā¦until today when my wife handed me a package that came a bit late. Inside was 3 tins of tobacco and a pirate skull clay pipe

I like raspberry pi a lot! I use it to measure temperature of the house and as a small web server .
Nice, I donāt drink so it would sit on a shelf if I got any. I stopped smoking ciggarettes earlier this year but still enjoy a nice cool smoke from a pipe every now and again
