What is the WORST Anker product?

So I’ve seen questions on what is the BEST Anker product, and I’ve seen posts on the most USELESS Anker product (Oil diffuser you know who you are!)

So what is the useful but WORST Anker product?

Kudos to you for such a unique topic!

First, regarding your oil diffuser comment, those aren’t useless! I speak from experience. I am a firm believer in essential oils, and I use a diffuser. I’ll put high quality (Young Living) oils in it when I’m feeling sick and run it overnight. I always wake up feeling better.

Anyways…

I don’t believe there is a single Anker product that is “terrible” from a quality standpoint, so I searched for what I believed was the most “useless” and “stupid” product in my opinion.

I settled on the “ergonomic” mouse (http://amzn.to/2eMBUaN). Again, from quality standpoint, it’s fantastic. It’s just, I think it’s incredibly stupid. I’ve tried one myself, and it made it harder to use my mouse, and ultimately was a more uncomfortable experience than my traditional mouse. Pretty useless if you ask me.

ok cool

I saw the Anker offer on their vacuum device and looked at the reviews, it came across from the reviews as the worst product Anker makes but its not like I clicked on everything and ranked.

I’ll be honest, I tried out the ergonomic mouse. I do a little bit of PC Gaming, and I will say, at first it was very uncomfortable. It was a big shift, I was constantly not clicking when/where I wanted. But it got better, and now I’ve definitely noticed a lack of pain in my wrist after playing for a while.

As for the vacuum… ehh. I mean, I don’t love cleaning anyhow, but it works. There’s one major qualm though, which I do have. And that is that the brush at the bottom of the vacuum, which spins to suck up stuff from the floor, gets clogged up pretty easily. I reside with someone of the female gender, and their strands of long hair collects there until it gets completely knotted up. I have to use a knife or scissors to get it working again.

Until today I have not had a bad experience with any of the anker products

Is more, I understand if a product has been wrong or failed, you can request a replacement, and if they do, my brother has had this experience with a portable charger that I bought, and contacted to effect the corresponding claim, and Have sent a change, without the need for my brother to resend the failed uploader.

Well that prompts the question of what if you simply don’t like it, it doesn’t work well enough for you - a say 14 day no quibble return and credit?

Warranty means if it breaks, but a return covers for other situations.

There are online suppliers who give you a choice of either free postage and you pay to post back or pay a higher price and is included a free return, the difference is a % given most people won’t return.

For me it was the magnetic dashboard vent mount. Mainly because it was sold as universal but it certainly didn’t work on a Ford Focus 2014 Titanium. No sooner than it was attached, it fell off into the footwell (without a phone luckily).

Anker’s wireless mouse was a swing and a miss. The battery door kept falling off - I think it was ultimately redesigned however.

Not an ANKER product, but a Eufy product the Robovac 20. I’ve seen some pretty terrible reviews about it.

Note: In case you didn’t already know Eufy is made by Anker.

Until today, meaning today you had a bad experience?

I have (and use) both the Anker Ergonomic Mouse and their 2-in-1 vacuum product on a regular basis. I find both to be great products and the vacuum in particular is used on a daily basis. Each product has it’s own audience on some of those more personal products, everyone has their own opinion.

I’ll take a different tact and say the worst Anker product is the one I haven’t had a chance to use yet.

Eufy and Anker are one and the same, I have the Robovac, I won’t say it’s useless because it has its place, it just randomly goes room to room in a random pattern, doesn’t hold a lot in its canister and clogs up easily if you have pets that shed. I stop the Robovac occasionally to dump the canister out while it’s in its cycle, and I wish I didn’t have to just to make sure it’s doing its job. We let someone borrow it who doesn’t have pets, she has a hard time moving around and this thing does it all for her without complaints. She loves it! So it has its place, it just doesn’t work for us. We can vacuum our small-ish house in minutes if we go beast mode as a team, vs a robot vacuum that takes an hour or two and need help along the way.

Do you have Robovac 10 or 20?

I’ve never seen them make a truly awful product. I’m a huge fan of their Lightning cables, but have always had reliability issues with them. That being said, I’m not too fussed as when they inevitably break after 6 months or so, they always send me free replacements. So, despite what other people may say, their cables seem to be the worst from a quality standpoint, even though they are arguably the best in every other area.

I definitely have the Robovac 10. I’m guessing 20 is the same thing but with some kind of interactive interface thing on the top of the Robot? What else?
