Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

Wow they’re making it harder to open their boxes. Or were you simply too excited?

They were Amazon returns hence why I only paid $5 for each box. However they seem to work just fine

Cool. So the previous owner ripped them open to find them lacking.

I told this my ladies here -> “lumberjack”
May be they will call me a “lumberjack”.
But if they really do, I will not mind.
We have always fun in our house.

Either that or they got messed up while shipping. Everything was in there, even the papers and still had plastic covering the wireless chargers

Not sure yet fully I have too many interests to know what I want to do. Probably job hunting and trying to see what I like. Also debating got through more school cause I love to learn but I also don’t know what I would specifically major in. Last semester and it feels like it flew by so fast

Oooh… lucky

Perhaps said previous owner suffered the dreaded Idtent error??

But use the numbers instead of the letters…

Yeah it’s a bin store lol. There is one in my town and 2 other like 20 mins away so I like to go on weekends when I don’t work. I’ve found some good things :+1:

A “bin store”? "Krazy bins loo"t?

Is this a kind of flea market, or better where used things are sold?
Not so common here, we have the flea markets.

btw: Flea markets starting again.
A lot of rules and controls.
But I got all I need : 3 vaccs.
Meanwhile my little yellow vacc book is really full.
I got many vaccs before my surgery in 2019 and now more.
I am a real a living “antibody” meanwhile!

Bin stores where all Amazon returns get shipped and it works like a Dutch auction where after fresh restock, items run $25 an item and as the week goes, price gets lower…

Downside to waiting is items and quality greatly decrease as price reduces…

I went to the one here, and for the 1hr it took me to go through half heartedly, I could have bought the item brand new… lol

Was an experience for sure, not my kuppa.

I hope everyone is having a good week. I’m currently getting ready to go back to school as well as preparing for the snow predicted for this weekend. Numbers seem to range from 2 inches to 32 inches.

Now I got it, thank you. Snarky!
Not here in Germany.
Dont know what amazon does with the returned items.
May be the sell these to dealers - > ebay etc.

32 inches is a lot! ca 80cm.
Do you have shovels ready.
Good luck and take care!
Sunny here over the pond and
Flea markets starting again!

Glad it’s sunny by you!
Yes we have shovels ready but no weather station seems sure what we will get this weekend.
Some think it will miss us and move out to see while other seem to think we will get a blizzard with insane winds. I don’t hate snow but not sure I want a full blizzard.

I know snow its not the problem.
But such a blizzard is.
We dont have those here in Germany.
So I really dont know the effects.
Take care and let us know here how are things doing.

Blizzard and only 1 door is the bad combination. Blizzard is snow+wind which then blows the snow up one side of building, so the snow isn’t there on opposite side. I used to live in a house with only one door and some winters had to kick ourselves out through the snow piled up high.

Oh ja!

onedoor

Flea market today.
No snow, but not many sellers.
Most sellers who do apartment clearing.
But those are good and I like them -> professionals.
(They know something,
a little bit more than nothing, but I know more and a lot!)
And they do not carry around useless things.
I call these things “household garbage”. :grinning:

No findings but a lot of talks and meeting the old well known buddies!
