Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

Was absolutely perfect!
All the “Bratwurst” is eaten now.
This is one of the few things the old Germans are perfect in!
Preparing their “Bratwurst”.

Never had Bratwurst Franz.
I’ve sent them in the supermarket (obviously not as good as yours) but haven’t been tempted to try.
Are the skins thick? I don’t like thick skins on sausage, not sure of that a me thing or an English thing

Oh Paul you poor man from the island!

There are different types.
The best are from Franconia region, (Nuremberg, Coburg)
Then other good ones are from Thuringia.
When our son (Now in Sweden) was studying there (Ilmenau) he had to bring home always huge packages to the old parents.

No thick skin.
But how can I describe those.
Of course these are totally different from those you will find in UK:

Best would be : Show up here!
There is Bratwurst, beer and fun for our friends from UK!

Charlie finds one of the world’s longest unraveled curly fries!

And obligatory desert!

Sheesh!
Looks more to be a cousin of spaghetti…spaghetti fry?

Just doing basic household chores, one of which is replacing the sub-mount of our mailbox…the part that screws to the top of the actual wooden post and the mailbox then screws onto. Just found some scrap Baltic Birch plywood (~3/4" or 18mm thick) at work (I’m in the furniture industry) and cut and sanded to size there in 5 minutes. I’m today painting (mainly for weather protection as it’s barely visible) the piece in the garage before actually mounting it sometime in the future…after this cursed heat subsides.

Sound like your quite practical @SZak2015 :+1:t2:
It’s nice getting jobs done around the home.
If you get any spare time i have a list as long as my arm of things I must do but never get round too :confounded:

These are our normal jobs. :grinning:
Think I will paint the cellar wells this week.
Found two have full paint buckets -> Now I have a full one!
White is white, even if these are from different manufactures.
Its not dispersion paint, so its OK.

Today it will be about 30C here in München, but that’s OK.
Its summer! :sunny::sunny:

The famous “To do lists”.
I have one on my desk, so I have to look at it often.
That helps to get it done!

To do lists work well.
I have one on my phone with reminder alarms so I don’t forget, or ignore

Sad day for all football fans, not only the German ones.

Our Gerd Müller passed away, was 75 years old.
Suffering from dementia the last few years.

He was the best goal getter we ever had here in Germany

Rest in peace Gerd!
