Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

Should I?
They got no names now : Mr. and Mrs. “Amsel”.
Those are the pets we like here!
Hope the squirrels will not steal the eggs.
For the neigbour’s cat its nearly impossible to reach that nest,
The branches got really many stings.
Good!

@ikari04warrior I hope your feeling better after your shot. Fully vaccinated over here thankfully. Out of my whole family I’m the only one that had a horrible reaction to both shots first one wiped me out and made me dizzy and nauseous and the second one was even worse but thankfully was just one or two days of feeling miserable to keep myself and other safe

Goodnight friend, talk to you tomorrow :+1:

Stronger immune system.

The worst thing is, if the vacc is given to persons with an unknown disease.
This could lead into real big troubles.
I usually do the normal flue vacc once a year.
You have to be without any infection, eg. simple cold.
Otherwise no!

@Chiquinho They actually screen you and ask you a series of questions before giving you the vaccine, so if someone hada serious disease or reaction to medicine in the past they will not give it to you.

Of course the do, I know.
You have to fill out quite a booklet!
But if you have a disease you dont know about ?
This is the real problem.
The patient dies not because of the vacc.
He dies of that disease and the vacc.
I think about all that horror stories can be found everywhere.

Causal Vs Coincidence.

Only science can answer. Plural of anecdote is not evidence.

I’ll.be glad when the face covering thing is ended.

Does Tuesday count as weekend?

Biked about 40 miles, would have been 60 miles but thunderstorm meant I got train back.

I’m using my Slim buds now and my Powercore 10000 PD as my phone is nearly flat, but fortunately I keep an unused Soundcore Liberty Air 2 to take photos to enter the other place’s photo competitions.

I only had a barely sore arm but that was it. What have you been up to bro? I tried to pm you a few weeks ago but it wouldn’t let me

Huh that’s weird. I haven’t changed any setting and don’t think we can anyway.

But I’m been alright. Just busy with my classes which ended a couple weeks ago

Thanks. I could see a thunderstorm getting nearer and biked until I felt I was about to be the highest point for the lightning on the sea cliffs, so went inland to have taller things nearby for the lightning, then biked to train and gave up.

But seems in the news, the sensible thing of not being the tallest thing in the area was not followed and a child died nearby playing in a field. I’d say I had a good 30 minutes warning of approaching storm.

Having 2 feet of metal rod in my leg was at back of my mind… wearing rubber sandals on my rubber tires gripping my plastic bike grips…

I didn’t take videos by taking out a metal object and holding it up to take a video, but earlier I did take this:

So I was headed into work tonight and realized I needed gas…normally that wouldn’t be a problem, but since the pipeline was hacked a week ago now all the gas stations are running low in gas and people started panic buying and topping off their gas tanks. This lead to the closure of almost every gas station within 30 miles of me.

I work almost an hour away so there was no way I was making it to work tonight, I went from station to station looking to get gas. I legit needed it because my car said I had less than 12 mile range. Luckily I managed to find a station that had super 93 octane and I managed to fill up. But the pump literally stopped after I got gas because they ran out. I was the last person to get gas at this station, but I called out of work because who knows how long it will be before anyone these stations have gas and are back up and running.
So for now since I’m home, I will be editing my video of the Q35 headphones.

Sad, FOMO (fear of missing out) causes shortages when fear of shortages, and so the few make an issue for the many.

I’m surprised a prior Vermont resident doesn’t keep a fuel can in the car at all times for surprise shortages? We certainly did in California. Last time I nearly ran out was driving in intense heat to Bonneville flats when 75mph and AC on max drained us very very fast, tank said empty but on refill we had enough to go another 25 miles. Needless panic.
