Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

I could use the plastic welder to fix it, but there is still the issue of the top part of the mask missing a good portion. So I already fixed and setup the printer so its making a new mask now.

Awesome job :+1:

There is a a “light” lockdown here in Germany.:mask:
I will not talk about more, this would lead in to political discussion.
We should NEVER start any political discussion.

No more flea market.

But I made some repairs at my tile stove.
Filled some broken “joints” (hope thats correct  )

A special material is needed for this (temperature)
here its called “Feuerzement”
I think I made it good!

Enjoy the weekend, though it will start not today.

Its quite huge tile- stove so the old Neanderthaler has a lot work to feed it!

Hope you are staying safe friend and be careful

I was reading Sean Connery passed away (90 years old)

Rest in Piece Sean and meet Mr. Goldfinger : Gerd Fröbe.

He was absolutely the best 007 for ever!
Mrs. Moneypenny knows.

He was such a great actor.

I remember as well “The Name of the Rose”
Who has not seen that film, should watch it.
A classical one same as the novel.

I heard that too!
Great actor and didn’t know he was that old.

He was one of the stars of my youth.
I was taking a look at the list of great films he was an actor.
So many!
RIP : SIR Sean Connery.

Weather is fine.

On monday another lockdown will start here.
We don’t care about much, both pensioners,
but SO MANY others will do
eg pubs, restaurants and hotels.
(Totally game over now for those)

I think we are close to another lockdown too.
There has been a news announcement today, but I haven’t seen it yet.

I think businesses will suffer, especially retail with Christmas coming up!

I made a photo especially for Charlie. :grinning:

Our well known “monkey MASTER engineers” found
an old fire brigade truck in the basement.

They repaired it.
So its ready for use!

Cool mask :star_struck:

Myself, currently enjoying a nice medium rare steak, chips and a glass of Stift Klosterneuburg St Laurent red wine
while waiting for the impending lockdown announcement :wine_glass:

Sounds amazing - the food and drink, not the lockdown.
What time is the announcement @ndalby?

Was supposed to be 4pm, then 5pm now from 6pm onwards

Still be onsite work for me on Monday :muscle:

Best beer to get through the next lockdown.

Same will happen to all in UK I read now.
We are meanwhile all in the “same strange boat”.

I saw that on Twitter this morning. He looked good to be 90 :astonished:

That’s great @Chiquinho :+1:t2:
I have saved the picture and will show him tomorrow.

We have had the announcement that we will be in lockdown from Thursday for one month.

Then we are all “locked down” here together.
We don’t mind, we have to and will get through.

We will NEVER loose your humor.
"We are the tough family!"

90 is a good age.

Indeed, its takes a lot to knock my humour.
Although we are in lockdown its business as usual for us as a family.
Schools are still open and out work is both open too.
Pubs amd retail etc will all close except essential stores - food I guess.
