We Need More USB C PD Charger or battery bank

I have been using Google Pixel for around 3 weeks now but i need more accessories like car charger or portable battery from anker.
I really trust anker and i dont use other brands.
are you thinking about USB- C products?

Indeed.

I have the Pixel C tablet which isnt PD but just 3A 5V USB-C. The Anker Powerport 5 USB-C does not charge as fast as the supplied 3A charger.

I’ve been asking for this as well as I’d like another option for my XPS13. If they start to see enough demand for these types of products I’m sure they’ll invest time in the R&D of products to meet the demand.

I end up having to defend the charge of my USB-C Pixel C tablet, as if I’m actively using it in bright conditions, nothing other than the supplied by Google USB-C charger can keep ahead of demand. The USB-C claims of Anker are not true in my experience, e.g. their USB-C port on their Powerport 5 USB-C is still showing as about 1.7A vs the Google USB-C charger nearer to 2.4A. Yes I tried different cables.

So if I’m about to do some serious hours off-grid I plug in one of the larger 2A-2.4A output powercore with a short USB-C cable and cause the tablet’s power to drain slower, then to handle even longer off-grid I aim for powercore with faster recharge. You can do this via a few methods, one is multiple 2A input powercore (say 2 Powercore 10000) or one Powercore 26800 which is a 4A recharge. I have yet to go on a long trip with the new Powercore 26800 but I may do some testing at home.

Combined with a Powerport5, that then gets me enough between times between mains power.

I can only imagine these issues magnified by PD devices.

The USB C PD accessories will arrive in time. It is very new compared to Quickcharge so I am not surprised that there are not more chargers and cabled available yet. I agree it is frustrating however.
