Wanted: Power Bank Suggestions Hero7 Black?

Hi, Getting ready to pull the trigger on a Hero7 Black. Due to wanting to use this snowmobiling, I would like to hook up to a good power bank instead of depending on poor battery life in the cold. I’ve been looking at the Anker Power Banks PowerCore+13400 with the other being 13000 (link below). If you have one of these or any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks, Ray

I would consider PowerCore 13000 C, so you don’t have to use Micro USB and USB-C cables.

Anker still does not offer a portable charger with USB-C output that I would recommend to the average consumer.

Thanks for the help. Looks like a nice Power Bank. The USB-C end would be great for direct plug-in to the Hero 7. Please correct me if I’m wrong; I believe I could use an Anker USB A to USB-C cable with most of the Anker Power Banks. Thanks again, Ray

Yes, that is correct! However, the portable charger I linked you to is not capable of USB-C output, only input, so you’d still be using a USB-A to USB-C cable. I just thought you’d rather have USB-C to charge it since your Hero 7 also uses USB-C.

Thanks… You’re right, I would like it to have an USB-C ouput as well. I use a 2016 MacBook Pro in which everything is USB-C. Thanks again, ray

In that case, Anker offers a few different solutions, but I struggle to strongly recommend any of them, mainly because of their value.
